there is ways to hide the antenna in the car itself and just have the onstar antenna on the out side. my car doesnt have onstar so i just whent with this.

the gain it you have a cleaner looking car. if u cut down the antenna you loose FM channels. the antenna i have has an amplifier built in so you dont loose channels.

id deff leave this to the pros

once the rain stoped i her sanded it back down and redid it. after you us 2000 grit sand paper and use a buffing compond than wax the car you dont see and scratches. the plan blended in. ill post new pix soon.

what bolts?? when i got the car the antenna was loose. lol it wasnt much work getting it out.

i have a 2010, and have an antenna on the roof and the long one on the quarter, anyone have an idea why?

One for the radio and I believe the one on the roof is for the on star or xmradio
