Sexy. I'll need to be ordering a set of these soon. Luckily the first time I had my car towed they sent a normal truck, but next time I may not be so fortunate.

yeah I figured it out...in the pic its hard to see the metal clips that are holding them into the car....I thought maybe I was suppose to twist them or something to release the plastic part.

Ya I think it will fit, but you'll have to take off the bumper to drill the holes cuz the bumper blocks the drill unless you had like a 2 foot drill bit. Did you buy them yet? On rallyracers we could of moved it forward more but again the drill wouldnt fit, I had to pull the bumper while he drilled.

I think the front one should fit.

Once the hooks arrive, take the spacer he provides you with and try putting the spacer up onto the crash bar (before you take the bumper off). You may want to use a sharpie to mark where your spacer will be and also your holes. If the spacer is just a tad to fat and hits your IC you may be able to just file off a 1/16 or 1/8 of the back side of the spacer that ill be closest to your IC, just an idea.

I know, I know

"DO A SEARCH!!"

I searched, I never got an answer to my question

Why do I need a tow point on my Cobalt?

Do they really break down that often?

I'm all for tow points, I've got multiple tow points on each end of my trucks and my Jeeps, along with a winch on the front of each too

but I just can't figure out why I would need a tow point on my Cobalt

thanks

Dan

For the unlikely event that it does break down, or you lose control in the rain and put her in a ditch, or snow bank.

if people are that stupid that they cant figure out why the cobalt could use a tow hook maybe they should look into something more their speed. like why is their brail on drive thru atms, leave the cobalts to people with common sense

Lol, very true. To people who ask why get these, take a look at your car and let us know a good place to winch the car from without messing up bumpers, intercoolers, etc.. If you need a tow and the tow company sends a flat bed theres a pretty good chance something besides the original cause of the break down will be broken as well.
