I believe all 4 are wired in series, try wiring them separately, but I haven't looked at mine in forever. That and no matter what route you go with the stock 2 LED per block set-up they will only run off 2 volts, I don't think it's worth the time and effort to mess with the stock set-up anymore. I'm going with the LED rings eventually, and I gave up on the stock LEDs, got tired of replacing them once a month.

Your driving lights. That or do a little custom work and maybe do an add a fuse to the IGN fuse?

I've never seen the taps before but I know the add a fuse is pretty safe. It says it's only rared for a certain amps and the IGN fuse is rated a little higher, but I've been running my gauges off them for over 2 years now and it's cool.

Go with an add a fuse, much safer and you run 2 fuses.

after messing with it for hours last night and just calming down and going over everything i looked inside the connector and saw that the prongs inside there might not have been making contact so i bent them down some and reconnected it and it worked. the good thing is they fit a lot nicer than my stockers.

yes, they do. They are H1 bulbs for the low beams and H7 for the high beams. You can put hids in any headlights

You can't use the ones you put in the stock headlight, they are a different bulb type. You need to get h1 bulbs. The stock bulbs are 9007

got a promlem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i bought a kit that came with the HIDs. its plug an play as far as that goes..
problem is, when i turn on the lights, the driver side HID and the passenger high beam come on, then when i switch to high beams, the passenger HID and driver high beam are on. i also noticed that the passenger harness is not color coded, they are all black, and the turn signal is a completely different type of plug than on the driver side.
is it possible that a simple wire switch can fix this? i am thinking that of the three wires that go into the headlight only one of them controls the high beam? maybe the previous owner switched them somehow?
if it helps, the passenger light has always reached farther than the driver side, and i always assumed it was just aimed wrong...

also... my kit came with four "quick splicers". are they safe and efficient to use for the halo and LEDs or should i use the technique explained here? will the connections be weaker with the quick splicers?

can i get sum help with this?? ^^^^^^^^
im an electrical newb, so i have no idea what to do?
im assuming that the wire controlling the high beam and the wire controlling the low beam got switched, and i was thinking about just switching them and seeing if that works????
all three wires are black (thanks previous owner...) but i can use the other side to determine which of the wires i need to switch. black if the return line, correct? negative i guess i should call it...
