Stage kits..
StreetDreamz on here was doing it last summer. Not sure if he is still doing it or not, but he did 4 or 5 of them last summer.

no, but expect your clutch to go bye bye, if you don't upgrade it before

I've been on the spray for like 2 years now and stock clutch...if it can survive instant torque from nitrous I don't see why it couldn't handle a blower

besides, killing your clutch in one day? eh, sounds suspect IMO...no offense to the guy though.

i'm honest.. it doesn't matter that my engine has held over 400 WHP on different applications and that the tranny has held up to 500 whp.. mine will pop at like 200 whp.. because the rest of my car is plastic

for one thing, it wasn't in one day
was more like a week, and that was with 10 lbs of boost.
i only made 2 good pulls out of it, then i babied it for about a week before the clutch actually went out when i went up a really steep hill.
"sounds suspect"
that makes no sense, think you mean suspicious.
either way, i'm sure jn2 and my other guys can back me up that i drive pretty well...it was used for 10 k so i have no idea. i did have to replace my flywheel as the guy that did my clutch install said it was defective due to some unnatural heat spots, so idk if something was just messed up or not. but previous to the install everything ran great. so idk.
my car is nice now, i've passed the break in mileage for the clutch and its been running great...now im just waiting for a new belt as it was squeaking and had actually lost part of a rib. then when i tried to fix it and get rid of squeak the belt got off track and i smelled some burnt rubber so to be on the safe side im buying a new one and waiting for it then ill be back up.

Would it be a better idea to just buy all stock parts at first to get it up and working, or is it cool to buy some up-level parts along the way, pre-installation? I'd rather buy aftermarket parts where possible, now that you can buy them used for reasonable prices.. I'm gonna start collecting parts over next winter after I finish my brakes and suspension..

And honestly, if you have two people doing the supercharger add-on to a car (one person good with cars and another incredible with cars), with all parts necessary, with all tools necessary and with an entire weekend to work on it non-stop.. Can this be up and running (sans tune) in a few days..? Can you street tune it or do you need to dyno it..? I'm guessing just HPT..?

Sorry for the questions, just trying to get all info before moving any further..

well if you buy upgrades, like an extra heat exchanger, dual pass endplate, option b, smaller pulleys and what not...you just got them out of the way for the future. i got all the cooling i'll ever need and im glad i did it then cause now i prolly would be too lazy. ive got a cold air intake thats just lying at home and ive been to busy/lazy with school.
some day ill get a smaller belt and pulley as well...but would have been cool to do it from the beginning.

if you have it all, then 2 days is reasonable. i know now, i could do it it in 2 days. the hardest part for us was the fact that we turned a single endplate in dual, had to wait to get special bolts, and fabricate custom brackets for my h/e 's. my tuning was done by vince, dude is badass.

This thread will help me next week when I rewire my harness. I hope those colors match mine though.

The guide says the lsj injector ground is blue/pink, and I see that, but he also says the ground for the harness is pink, but it looks red in the picture. Can anyone clarify? Getting them mixed up could be a disaster.

See, I have a HPT ready to go for my 2.4, but it's for light mods, not for a supercharger.. It's from Illmatic3s.. Could I basically just take that tune and just tweak it..?

I really don't want to get into internals.. Just add the blower with a few supporting mods.. Not trying to have a Ferrari-killer, just a but of boost..

What are some good suggested mods to do while you're doing this..? I've been n/a in every one of my cars.. It's my other friends who have experience in turbo's on their Hondas..
