Yeh, forgot to mention that it is a 2.4l rear bumper, but on a 2009 SS/TC sedan.

UPDATE: Bumper is installed, thanks mainly in part to jr racing. It's too dark to take pictures so I'll take some in the morning. I am disappointed in finish paint work, so that is being addressed separately. Needless to say, having the rear lip has finally given the rear of the car, a finished look. Stay tuned for the pictures tomorrow.

For the record, here are the pics, but the bumper is coming back off because I am not satisfied with the quality of the finish paint work. It's terrible in my opinion, so it's gonna be painted again, and if that doesn't work out, I'm sending the bumper elsewhere for the final work. It looks damn good in the pictures though.

It looks really good. It does look funny in the second pic where the lip meets the bumper. Looks crooked. Doesn't look like a straight edge

The edge does need a bit of work but that may be a reflection.

Looks like the paint is fine it just needs some good polishing on the paint or clear. But that just what I see from the pics, it might be different in person.

Heh, I took Karen out yesterday morning. She made me breakfast this morning.

It does look good though. I'll be happy once the paint finish on the bumper comes close to the factory paint.

Nah, it's an illusion created by the edge of the lip not being finished well and that the lip is molded to the bumper, not just attached. I am send the bumper off to another shop to get the bumper reworked. Upon inspection over the past 2 days, I came to notice a lot of crappy work. I'm having another shop do the once over and repaint it too.

I'm never going to recommend the first guy, cause my experience, and final product, were way below par in my opinion. I just wasted 5 weeks and whole ton of cash to get a "D" rated job. I now have to pay another shop to complete the work. Man, has this been an expensive project. This is the reason I kept my stock bumper cover, that way, if I get so sick of this project, I'll just go back to the stock rear bumper. I'm almost at the point of wanting to get rid of this bumper, and all due to getting a bad taste in my mouth from shoddy workmanship.

Damn, to think that I paid this guy too, I should have looked over the bumper more closely before I paid him.

oh i got ya. It did look like it was moulded to me, i guess i was right. Having it moulded has its advantages too tho, casue i cut some of my holes too big and you can notice it when you get up real close.

That's why I bought another bumper cover, just in case something didn't work out, I'd still have my original one.

That's why I did it myself. I knew I could do it and I don't like to give someone else my money for something I can do.

I probably would have done a better job at it. And you coyldve paid me half of what you charged that other guy to **** it up

X2 getting the center slot is the nerve racking one. When you're ready to cut, you stop and look at it, then you go to cut again and stop. I did that like ten times LOL

I tried, but I'm not as handy with the tools as you are Cesar. Props to you for doing it yourself. I'm getting a couple of quotes tomorrow for getting the work done properly. I'm just going to have to work more overtime to help pay for this. To think, I have to get my stereo installed too, crap, more money........ that should have been used for the stereo install, not for getting the bumper redone.

Meant to say that the finish body work is going to get the once over by another set of eyes, putty and smoothed where necessary, and completely repainted (with the right colour white this time). I'm going to take the time to look at areas that I have noticed, make notes of those areas for reference for the shop that will complete the work.
