iknorite, you should see how fast teh **** downloads, wait till i get the return system on it too.

You know what, I apologize, your right. I have no idea what I am talking about. I am just the person that built Witt's, DJT81185, Mine, and Sean's motor (he flew me out to California to build his). Oh wait...

Might I add those are the only cars on the site that have done a motor build and are still running trouble free?

Yeah...but building 4 motors does.

WSFrazier can treat me like an ******* anytime - just as long as I am learning. The best professors I have had where complete ********.

In the case of this thread - it seems some baggage from other one has been dragged in.

To post something on topic: I see 3 benefits with a returnless system. The first is it allows you to tune the fuel system much easier by not having to alter the IFR table to account for manifold pressure. The second is that it allows you to keep relative pressure consistant and get more out of smaller injectors at high boost levels. Third - It also allows you to run larger injectors at higher pulsewidths in low load / low rpm situations due to the pressure reference.

There are other cool things about it - but that it what appeals to me the most.

thank you for the info

has anyone had any real trouble tuning to the new setup?
I admit injector setup is my weakest area in tuning.... :/

out of curiosity, i'm planning on doing injectors, tune, smaller pulley, and cooling mods spring'ish next year, and was considering doing a return fuel system as well, so i could get a safer, more aggressive tune. my question is, is this worth the money? i know i can get safe tunes with the current setup, but i'm wondering if doing this would be safer on the long run.

it'd be hard to call it safer for the sake of getting flamed, but your #4 cylinder will thank you for quenching its thirst properly and maybe return the favor

Exclamation Pictures !

Anybody knows where I can find this "how to" without the dead pictures?

I also figured that, while keeping the stock fuel system, the fuel rail damper could be remove and replaced by some fitting to be plumbed to the regulator. Doing so would make the flow exactly the same into all the injectors (instead of exiting between cylinder 1 and 2 (2002 cavalier fuel rail) staving them since the further exit from a collector gets the better flow.)

I know the thread is 6 years old sorry
