And for lnfs are direct injection which means it dont hit the valves so running e wont do anything but clean the top of the pistons and possibly portion of the valve. the sea foam will actually clean the intak manifold and the valves, and the top of the pistons, and if you put it in the oil it cleans everything.. and i mean everything!!!!

Don't waste the oil. Do it next oil change. I never seafoamed my car until 104k, you'll be alright.

Bonus points for showing a good vacuum line! I was wondering what to disconnect on my LNF. I've done V8's and I've drawn it through 8 different ways to sunday. Never did a boosted car, tho.

... i wrote about LSJ:
Hose from boost solenoid to intake doesn't feeds with seafoam all cylinders ... (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Today I get off sparks after all - putting 1/3 seafoam with this hose ... and turn it off ... but only second (2) spark was wet with seafoam. Others was dry ...

Sooooooo ... WTF? ) Buy seafoam spray?

I always use NUMBER 1 marked on the pic below ..... but there is another spot to use (#2 on pic) But #1 is more centered so it should pull seafoam even to all cylinders.

do you cap/plug the hose while you do this? I'm assuming you use another hose to pipe it into #1 in your pic, or at least that's how I figger I'm going to do this.

Just bought my seafoam can for my 02 Tacoma - that hog needs a full douche-ing with the stuff as part of my pre-winter overhaul.

Can someone point out the hose to use on the 2.2? Or is it the same as the SS/TC?

Your right on about the extra piece of vacuum line..... I have a 1 foot piece that i use to get the seafoam in. You don't have to cap or plug the hose you take off .

I'm making a detailed "How-To" VIDEO in the coming couple of weeks. It will be LNF specific but give a better idea on the whole process.

You should try to get a 2.2 and a SC there for the vid as well. At least to show which hose to use.

I noticed this fouls the plugs up when doing it thru the vacuum line. So, IMHO, I would change plugs and oil after doing a Seafoam treatment.

I've always thought it wouldn't be the best thing for spark plugs ...... I usually change mine every 8-10K miles so maybe thats why I haven't noticed any real effects from fouled plugs . Or maybe because the tune I'm running is so much more conservative than yours BYT?

I didn't notice anything negative from it but they looked pretty nasty after the Seafoam. So just for good measure, I change both when I do it. I try to do the Seafoam when I would change plugs anyway. I also soak the front O2 in denatured Alcohol when I do all of this (obviously AFTER the seafoam lol).
