if you are using a after market intake use the brake booster line, if still stock intake mani id use a vacuum source on the mani but no the one in the middle of the mani.... somehow make it work..!!
... i wrote about LSJ:
Hose from boost solenoid to intake doesn't feeds with seafoam all cylinders ... (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Today I get off sparks after all - putting 1/3 seafoam with this hose ... and turn it off ... but only second (2) spark was wet with seafoam. Others was dry ...
Sooooooo ... WTF? ) Buy seafoam spray?

I ....as well as a bunch of others..... do a seafoam treatment at every oil change ...... maybe that's why it's confusing . Personally..... I like doing a seafoam treatment right before changing the oil so then there is no way the oil could be contaminated .
But if you feel you need to seafoam with a lot of life left in your oil .....it shouldn't be a problem according to seafoams manufacturer. The only time it's a must is if you add it to the crankcase.
How the hell did you guys remove that damn vaccuum line?
That **** is hurting my fingers!
Seriously, guys. I've been messing with the ******* clip attached to it, but it's not really doing **** for me. Please help!

Is the green clip really necessary? Can't I just put the line back on without it to make it easier? In fact, maybe zip ties could work just as well & be easier to remove/reinstall, right?
Yes it's necessary.

The hose I mainly use on lsjs is the bypass valve line. So it can truly clean the laminovas and intake runners....... The hose on the s.c, use it. You'll need to take stockers off and add a larger enough line.
OK I have a 2.2L Lap Tech. I can't get to the brake booster hose cuz it's under a bunch of stuff, and I read that I can use one of the hoses on the intake. The hose I thought it was had no suction, so my question is, what hose do I use? I'm getting so frustrated! Could someone show me in a picture or something?
I just seafoamed through the central vacuum line (#1 as illustrated) for my LNF's 2nd anniversary and just after the 61,000 mile mark and man did it change the personality of the car. I guess I simply didn't notice the effects of build up on my intake valves because of the gradual nature of the contamination. The car was occasionally running out of steam at 5,000-5,500 rpm and figured this had to be the culprit... the cold idle was also very noticeably affected for the better. Thanks for the specific write up.
Yes but you won't clean the valves that way. That's the whole reason to do this on the LNF.
