Which end of the #1 hose do i remove to pour in the sea foam? And does sea foaming do anything to void warranty?

I ....as well as a bunch of others..... do a seafoam treatment at every oil change ...... maybe that's why it's confusing . Personally..... I like doing a seafoam treatment right before changing the oil so then there is no way the oil could be contaminated .

But if you feel you need to seafoam with a lot of life left in your oil .....it shouldn't be a problem according to seafoams manufacturer. The only time it's a must is if you add it to the crankcase.

im hoping seafoam will fix a sticky lifter I have, so i guess ill have to wait a bit to put it in the crankcase. I just changed my oil last week lol

Nvm. I figured it out, but now I have a different question:

Is the green clip really necessary? Can't I just put the line back on without it to make it easier? In fact, maybe zip ties could work just as well & be easier to remove/reinstall, right?

Just use pliers. It's super easy.

Yes it's necessary.

The hose I mainly use on lsjs is the bypass valve line. So it can truly clean the laminovas and intake runners....... The hose on the s.c, use it. You'll need to take stockers off and add a larger enough line.

Yeah, i saw in the other topic about the bypass line, but it doesnt really point to which one.. I heard some people put it into their brakes by accident.. I dont wanna do that!

OK I have a 2.2L Lap Tech. I can't get to the brake booster hose cuz it's under a bunch of stuff, and I read that I can use one of the hoses on the intake. The hose I thought it was had no suction, so my question is, what hose do I use? I'm getting so frustrated! Could someone show me in a picture or something?

I just seafoamed through the central vacuum line (#1 as illustrated) for my LNF's 2nd anniversary and just after the 61,000 mile mark and man did it change the personality of the car. I guess I simply didn't notice the effects of build up on my intake valves because of the gradual nature of the contamination. The car was occasionally running out of steam at 5,000-5,500 rpm and figured this had to be the culprit... the cold idle was also very noticeably affected for the better. Thanks for the specific write up.

Yes but you won't clean the valves that way. That's the whole reason to do this on the LNF.
