It might just be the lighting on the angle in his picture.

the openings look fine in mine. Omega, I have a question. Is there any way to tell the difference between the intake and exhuast cam? A friend of mine was looking at mine that I just got and I can't tell the difference between the two. They both look the same to me.

I'm assuming you don't have the cam sensor on the end.

In which case you should take a look at the lobe centerlines, because each should be different.
You could also look at the duration, assuming they are different.

they have a hexagon shaped hole on the end of them. Is not having a cam sensor bad? I have heard about some of the cams not having the sensor but I don't know what I am losing.

I just looked at the installation instructions and it calls for a 3.5 hour install that involves removing the valve cover, etc. i'm thinking that's the the few that will choose to install this without the benefits of a lift?.......at least i'm hoping...we'll c this coming week though when I install it though......

Removing the valve cover is not necessary. I'd be surprised if anyone can get it in without pulling the intermediate shaft...

Look at the spec sheets, one is listed as a 252 intake, the other is a custom 262, which is exhaust side.

Thats good. If you're doing your clutch, you can put the header on while you have the transmission out. It will save you some time with more room to work. One big downside; I notice they are still shipping those pos hex head bolts with the header. I would suggest getting some grade 8 regular bolts with the same length and thread to use instead, cuz you will have a hell of a time fitting an allan key or hex head socket in there to get some of the header bolts in.

Also make sure and check the back of the valve cover in case the header is touching (or pushing) on it. That was a nasty surprise for me discovering it had pushed my valve cover forward...

So how long is it taking to get this once it's been shipped...?

Anyone?

And who's delivering? UPS? USPS? Fedex?

I sent an email (with order #) to JPB on Monday and know that it was received & read Monday afternoon but have not received any response... don't know how to quite interpet that...?

once it got to the states through customs, mine only took 3 business days. Something to think about. Once it's across the border, it doesn't take long at all.
