Yeah they are great. Dangerous, but great. Starting to warm up a bit to so I'll be riding a bit more. Def saves me gas money.

 

Yeah I don't know which one I want. Im thinking an 1000 because It's a good size. Was thinking busa but way to big for me. Don't matter what color because Ill be painting all black with all chrome parts. I have a buyer on my kit but who knows if It will go through. If it does I might get bike

 

If its your first bike I wouldn't get a 1000. You're asking for death lol. I started with a used 600 and damn still has plenty of power to make me grin. Also I suggest taking the motorcycle safety class (MSF). helps a bunch for new riders. Test is easier than the DMV. They supply the bikes and you get a discount on insurance.

 

Yeah I would take that class. I still would buy a 1000 and call it quits and wouldn't buy another bike again. I drove my friends last summer and felt right. I been riding 250cc dirtbikes my whole life so I have some what of knowledge, plus I could loose it just as easy on a 600 also...

 

Yeah, but newer 1000 sport bike is no joke. You're in a low gear and rip the throttle your front wheel is coming up whether you like it or not lol.

 

Hell yeah that's what I want lol. Na Im pretty aware of that. The gears, when to rip it, when not to, etc....Just have to find one with the right price.

Yeah I love white Ducs. They are pricey though. My next bike after my next car is probably gonna be an r1. I love my r6 so I'm probably gonna stick with Yamaha.

Nope no interceptor, but from what I gather the IAT2's are gonna be all over the place. At least that's what happend with 2fasst and his car when he put in his H/E.

I'll have my stuff, 2fasst rebuilt his engine and I'm gonna redo the calibration. So after that we can take a look at Andy's.

So since it's starting to get nice out, I figured we should all try and plan a get together? Any ideas?! I know I'm fairly new to this website but I'd really like to try and get a monthly meeting going. I'm in Davenport which is about 40 minutes from Iowa City. An hour from Cedar Rapids and about 2.5 hours from Des Moines.

the car is running fantastic, who would think a tune could do that much for a car, Ill be tuning for 100% e85 in the next couple months so that should be awesome as well!! troyss I pmd you.

 

I'm looking at switching to E85 here very soon! I pm'd you about a tune but haven't heard back from you. Can you help me out with a tune? I live about 2.5 hours away.
