I dont have but I do want mods aswell. If you want a good start, theres nothing wrong with an intake and exhaust. Megan racing doesnt sound bad but I love the stock exhaust sounds. Not sure what light runs but I'm sure its good Light did you do your stage 3 yourself or did you go thru a dealer?

I just have the simple mods, nothing too complex. GMPP extrude honed manifold, GMPP touring exhaust, GM Stage3 pulley, FAB 3" intake, AIS Meth kit, and 60's. I've also bought HPT and learned to tune the car myself.

Next on the list is to get a hahn exhast system and a new intercooler. Either that or rebuild and go turbo, I've got 120k miles on her so far and I'm sure a rebuild wouldn't hurt....

I got a buddy here in town who has a blacked out ss and he is plannin on doin some serious modin but I'm not sure if I want to go big right away.

Tearing into the LSJ

Well, I had some time to tear into the LSJ motor, don't have the heads or crank out yet, but that is next on the list. This motor is bad-ass! The castings are incredible, and this really is going to be a good base for my project... now I just need to win the lottery.
If anyone wants to stop down and check out the internals of an LSJ motor, the beer is on ice. Here is a quick (and partial) list of the changes that will be made:
LA Sleeves
Turbo pistons
Eagle rods
HD springs and keepers
ARP head bolts
Hahn Turbo system
Injectors
not sure about cams yet

Let me know if anyone wants pics of the project.

Cheers,
Jeff

Well you have your basic GM stage two which is your 42# injectors, 3.1 pulley and a smaller belt with the GM stage2 tune. Dealer can install this usually with no problem.

crateenginedepot.com

There are other companies with their versions of stage 2, ZZP, OTTP, both are nice upgrades.

SmokinSam.... damn its been awhile since I heard from you. Lookin' to get a TC?? Very nice, maybe next spring we can all get together again and do some drag racing... lol.....
