Pulley size is up to you , I run a 3.0 because that's the smallest GM offers. I've thought about the 2.9 but fear that eventually the belt will fly off because of how hard I run the car. Though others do fine with the 2.9, just make sure you get the 60# injectors for it.

As far as the PCM I have a couple of options for you. If you can do without your car for a couple of days just send the core in and install everything at once. You can have them email the tune and someone with HPTuners could flash it for you once you get all the parts installed. If you would like me to do it it'll cost you the price of the HPT credits and some gas money. I could also tune it for you for the same cost if your willing to take a chance.

Yeah I was thinkin of gettin a 3.0 pulley for now. I'm sure i'll like it. Now as far as PCM i could probably go without for a couple of days so they will just have me send it in or what? I just want to be sure when it comes time that I do upgrade I do it all right.

Also with the upgrade will i need to upgrade to cai, exhaust, or anything?

I've read about how the tune is done and there are tunes on the HPT site but I'm not that confident with the turbos and have never worked with turbos. I just wish I owned one so I could do some trail and error. That way if I blew it up or did something stupid I could live with it.

The best I could do is load somebody elses tune and adjust the AFRs and timing to make sure it's semi safe and that still wouldn't give me a warm fuzzy about it though. Or if you know somebody who'll tune it y'all could use my setup.

The way I understand it is you send in your PCM to ZZP when you order. Once they recieve it they'll flash the tune to it and send you everything for the stage 2. Then you just install it all at once.

You can upgrade the CAI and exhaust if you want but it's not needed. If you do upgrade you'll have to be sure and let ZZP know so they can adjust the tune.

Good to hear the car is still up and running. I've been meaning to go to DesMoines and have him detail my new truck before the snow really sets in.....

It wasnt terrible getting to work today but I work until 1 am so the ride home was a little scary and it was rough even through town. Got stuck on a hill on 1st ave. Stop light turned red for no reason, no car in sight, slow creep up but she made it. I also hate the fact that I have to drive it in snow but atleast its reliable And I have good news...I may have con'd my rents into buying me new headlights for xmas hehe, no more moisture, woot! Hoping they might go a little further and buy my exhaust or springs aswell but we'll see.

yeah it was a little hairy, lots of tire slippage, stupid torque, but made it home. Now if I can just get my truck started I won't have to drive in with the wife in her truck every morning....
