Any more stuff going on @ Cordova this year? Wouldn't mind meeting up with you sometime or other Cobalt owners. I've actually taken a shine to this car and won't be using it for Winter duty... will keep it in the garage. Started the ole buying of mods too.

Speaking of "family dynamics" I got informed I can't go to Cordova on the 25th. HOWEVER, I'm cleared for CFR on the 26th .... should any of you want to go. Its one of their dorky midnight madness things.

 

I'll prolly be at Cordova if it isn't raining. Good thing you guys didn't show up last week, lol. I drove all the way there to find out the track was closed.

 

They're pretty good at updating the website late in the afternoon when the weather is questionable...

I'll be at Cordova Friday night barring a rain out.

 

ME TOOOO!!!! Gonna have my hands full though. A buddy of mine I tune for wants me to try a new tune on his truck, so I'll be data logging that and trying to run my car, and blah blah blah. Might get another buddy to do some of the logging for me... I have taught him that pretty well.

You should come for the test and tune too.

I think 26th @ CFR will be my last track opportunity of the year.

Well I'm out of town for a lot of october between work and a family reunion is the thing. Depending on the weather I've seen them run CFR up till early November, but who knows this year. Been such a weird Summer I don't know what to expect for fall/winter

 

Weather reports call for rain Fri night. but if its not raining then I might be there at Cordova, y'all going to the Fun Night, or the Midnight Madness?

If not I guess I could try Sat. Midnight Madness at CFR though it looks like rain also.

Seems like the sure thing for me will be Tri-state on Sunday morning, but its all bracket racing that day.

 

Yeah, I think Cordova will run into November too. Last year we had another midnight mayhem actually.

And this cracked me up. I just got called the **** out on the solstice forums...

I go when the gates open. I don't run Midnight Mayhem, because its a pointless waste of time. The staging lanes get so backed up, that it takes about 2 hours to get through the line, so you are stuck in the boonies waiting to get your turn, so you can't watch anything. But, I might run it this Fri. Gonna take some cash with me, and see if I can profit. I am sure there is a cocky SRT owner somewhere there... lol.

I will run the test and tune though. Which, I usually run every Friday night.

I've met a few Kappa owners around here in autoX, and most of them arent particularly friendly.

 

Yeah, I don't mind being called out, but saying I have honesty issues is bullshit. When Ralli put me on the list, he knew what I had, and thats how he categorized it.

 

well it looks like I'm gonna try to make the CFR midnight mania, heard you can get as many runs as your heart desires. Hope you can make it out there Gimpster be nice to see another Cobalt out there....
