cruise points??
any places to cruise/ do a nice long twisty drive somewhere fun with a group of friends.? a few friends of mine and i are looking for some places to drive on a saturday or even a weekend thing in the spring/summer.. just to get away and enjoy the open road... any thoughts or ideas shoot me a pm. or reply.. plus if you wanna join feel free
So how bout that snow storm? I was visiting the Bass Pro in Altoona, and got to drive thru the blizzard...almost stayed in Newton, but made the 4hr trip back home just fine...all in the Cobalt
figure id post here as well.. i have extra cash and am ready to go stage 1 and 2 with my car. im not exactly car savvy, and all this talk about different size pulleys, tensioners, bigger heat exchangers, etc has made my head hurt!
pretty much i need someone to help me choose the best parts for my car for stage 1 and 2. im getting an idea for what i need, but im too nervous to just go online and buy what im 'supposed' to get, and wind up being told that i couldve got "x" part instead of "y" or saying "this part doesnt work on your car" etc..
i have a 2005 chevy cobalt ss/sc 2.0L, and i need HALP! i have a master mechanic from Kraft Imports thats going to be checking in on things for me, but i figure i would turn to you guys as well, since i dont know anyone that specifically works on cobalts..
i have a budget of about $2000-$2500 for parts/labor for my car, and need to know what you guys personally think would give the most performance increase for the budget range.
what ive grasped so far is something like a 2.5" pulley with an oversized tensioner, bigger heat exchanger, #60 injectors, possible methanol injection, 3" exhaust system, k&n drop in air filter, performance headers(?), with a custom tune of some sort to finish off things once all parts have been installed.
idk if there is anything that is better/more efficient, as i have seen plenty of parts being described everywhere.. if anyone has any opinions or help on my matter, please let me know!!! my money is burning a hole in my pocket and i wanna get this all ready by spring!

jojomexi.. i can help install if you need any help... but im not too sure on the S/C version.. i hear the superchargers are the first to be replaced.. if you want big gains.. and a different clutch. maybe act.. i did lowering springs, dv spring, and short throw within 5 months of owning my car.. then downpipe.. 3in custom catback.. window tint.. angel eye headlights, airbox mod, man boost controller, and waiting to see what tune I should get.. prolly the switchable tune through hp tuner..
I followed a link about the scheduled events
