I was there today for a Sonic lunch but not Monday......

Westpost is too far south my travel routes are north in Marion mainly down 151 to and from Montecello. Sometimes I catch a Red LS going the same way and I'll partake in some douchebaggery, ya know match speed for awhile then just before my exit let the supercharger scream a little...

went to Earlville Drags on Sat, lots of nice cars... even seen a Cobalt SS/TC though he wasn't racing it....

 

Hey! Just recently traded in my 06 Jeep SRT-8 for a 05 Cobalt SS. I'm in Davenport, Iowa and looking to see if anyone wants to get a meet in before the end of the season? Or maybe plan a trip to Cordova for a Midnight Mayhem? Let me know if anyone is interested!!

ya, same...i am workin a ton, n goin 2 school, only part time right now, since my financial aid didn't come through...ready for next summer though, cuz im lowering the car then...and hopefully gonna get my wheels chromed, but anybody know a place that does that?...i couldnt find a place around here, but i found this thing on ebay, where they send u the chromes wheels, and u send them the other wheels...?...

 

I went to this one shop that refered me to a place that does rim work. Repair, paint.... not sure if they do chrome. I'll have to look for their business card......

Not sure what I want to do next with the car......

Nasty hail storm the other day.... got 7 dents in the car, didn't notice till yesterday.

 

that sucks...i would report that to insurance, but thats just me...lol

 

well unfortunatly I no longer carry full coverage. I couldn't believe the rates for removing dents, its rediculous. I can't believe how people take advantage of these things....

I'm up in Monticello, hwy 151 where I got nabbed. 4 lanes, no traffic, nice sight lines during the day, but in the darkness, those IHOP's come outta nowhere..

 

The word is it'll be a nice weekend, perfect weather for Drag Racing. Earlville will be having their Street Legal drags Sunday Oct 10th.. Gates open at 8am..... It'd be nice not to be the only Cobalt there.....

ive seen a cobalt ss/sc in Skankeny. what color is it. and where do you normally see it at?

 

This weekend I saw a Black SS/TC and a Blue SS/SC at the track.... Didn't catch the runs though

 

well other than mine, ive seen an orange, yellow, and silver ss/sc...i do know the silver 1 lives in ankeny tho...
