Bah! It looks like it might rain, so there will be about 20 cars at the track. Last time I went when the weather was like this, I got 6 runs in in the course of like 1.5 hours, lol.

 

if only Cordova wasn't two hours away

 

so i signed up for the pink "arm drop live" at the cedar falls dragway... bought a dejon manual boost controller.. and upgraded the spring.. but i cant figure out how the MBC hooks up to the cobalt..i hooked it up once.. and it spooled super quickly.. and hit 25psi.. i tried to turn it down.. but nothing changed.. so i disconnected it. anyone that can help with getting instructions etc.. would be perfect.....does anyone know of a good exhaust shop near des moines.. or so that i can get my exhaust modified by??

 

I'm in Ames, but have friends down in Grimes, West Des Moines, etc. Might be up for something pending family priorities. Got an 09 SS/TC and I'm itching to show it off.

 

i have a black 09 ss/tc.. blacked out tail lights and eibach lowering springs.. k&N drop in, dejon upgraded spring.. and MBC.. soon to be installed hopefully

Agreed, I kinda doubt it though.. Most of the cars they pick to run the pinks all out are low 10s/9 second cars...

Unfortunately no. Friday Cordova was closed, which, ended up being a good thing since I ended up in the ER with a debilitating Migraine/virus. Still not sure what it was but it coulda killed me if I was driving when it hit.

 

Anyone having any meets comming up? Before winter hits

 

even if idont make it too far.. itll still be a great time seeing all the fast cars there.. and hopefully getting drunk friday lol.. but idk.. if i get this MBC hooked up and run 18psi for the runs.. it should knock my time to at least a 13.5.. if anything..

 

Meets... lets see Sept 4th is another midnight mayhem at Cordova. Wouldn't mind seeing some more balts there!

so im new here an should be getting my 09 cobalt ss/tc next week. I have to go down to oklahoma to pick it up. im in the process of moving between 3 houses but if im not busy i might head out there
