Here's my list of things I have for tomarrow...

1 Spec Stage 2 Clutch w/Pressure Plate, Clutch Disk, and Alignment Tool
1 Realease Bearing/Slave Cylinder
2 Quarts Manual Transaxle Fluid GM Part # 88861800
2 32oz DOT3 Prestone Synthetic Brake
1 1lb Container of Coastal Uniplex Premium High Temperature Grease
1 One Man Eazy Bleeder Kit
20 Blu3 Zip Ties

Anything else you think I might need?

Oh, Steve if your comming out. Connor and I are meeting up over at Oceana at 9 I'll be there a little early, since I live close by. Text me and let me know if we need to wait for you to get there.

Also since my car will be out of commission while the trans is out I'll need a ride out to Tidewater Machine to get my flywheel done, which would probably be a good time to get lunch tomarrow.

I like the flat black stripes idea. I think I'll do that instead. Thanks Josh.

Josh don't know ****... Next thing he'll have you paint the car WHITE to look cool!

Just keep in mind that a lot of flat black paints don't weather well. They tend to get "chaulky" and you can't wax 'em. A semi-gloss finish would hold up much better.

Josh... Just givin' you ****, my friend!

Danew... Hope the countdown goes quick for you!

That's the goal as long as Justin has my car back together and running for that time. I want to be able to drive MY car up there to the meet. He's only got like seven weeks for the car to be back together and the engine to be properly broken in.

That's the thing. It doesn't rain out here all that much. Everytime it does, we're never anywhere near it. We do get caught in sandstorms though. Those suck because you can't see it until your clothes are covered in sand.

thats poopie... i wish i had done the navy thing though... i know its not all that glam either but i dont think any branch of military is... which thats the point... having the option to live on or off the boat.. good re-enlistment incentives IF IIFFFF you have the right job. but 6 months on a boat is much more relieving than a year in the desert being shot at for a war you dont believe in... im just really sick of people dying over something stupid.. and yes i understand the underways.. and drills. and its not an easy life... but somehow i feel i would have turned out soo much different. im just soo stupid for going in for a person who i havent been with in over 2 years now already... its been 3 years since i left home on this adventure..

AHhh feels good to brive the Basketbalt again. I like the way it feels, aside form the upside down steering wheel. The brakes are good and firm, but the clutch is still a bit soft, I think it needs to bled a bit better. It's great, I like the way it grabs hard but not too hard.

Connor I couldn't have done it with out you thanks for all the help.

I'll have some pics on here in a few mins.

Hey man, we all make decisions that we aren't exactly happy about once we get knee deep into them. You just have to try and make the best of things. I am glad that I joined the navy, but all military branches have a certain level of toughness to them. Take those things that you learn and figure out where and how you can apply them to be useful to you.

Uhhh, upside down steering wheel? Care to explain?

Um, putting flat black vinyls on black cars is def nothing new. People have been doing it for years. Its a nice subtle way to make a statement.

Which is why he could get flat black VINYL for the stripes. C'mon old man....

And the hell with white. I'm so sick of my car in general.....
