Ideas for Va Beach and Tidewater region Cobalts
I'll explain the upside down steering wheel. I feel like it's my fault. Putting the subframe back in I forgot about the steering shaft. So, I had to muscle that thing in. We had one of Wayne's friends sitting in the car so that the steering wheel could be controlled. I was having her turn it left and right, but when it all finally came together the wheel was upside down. I forgot to keep tabs on that and pay attention to what was going on with that. When all was said and done that wheels were straight, but the wheel was upside down. The funny thing is, the person in the car didn't say anything until we were all done and just about to lower the car from the jacks. I felt like an idiot.
Wayne, I'll put in the wrench time to help fix that. Unfortunately, I probably won't be available for another 2 weeks. I might be able to squeeze you in next weekend if it rains on saturday, or on after 12 noon on sunday.

cant believe they actually got the weather forecast right for a change! snow snow snow! now there's a reason for school closings! not to mention i havent driven in the snow and ice with this car yet. i m sure it wasnt built for it! lol
We have a little bit of snow up here too.
My ass isn't leaving my condo today. Its gonna be a long day of job searching online (mostly Monster.com), working on my resume, eating, posting on .net, and playing video games.
Yeah I hear ya. Well, if something doesn't present itself here soon in terms of employment for me.....I might have to join you there in the military. My unemployment pay/tax return/last check from my employer cashing out vacation is only gonna keep my afloat for a few months. After that....i'm screwed. I'd sell my car, but who wants to buy a semi-high mileage 2.4SS that has $7,000 worth of **** done to it right now in a **** poor economy. I only have a high school diploma and some college.....so if I can't find someone, the military might be my only option to keep my head above water.
thats poopie... i wish i had done the navy thing though... i know its not all that glam either but i dont think any branch of military is... which thats the point... having the option to live on or off the boat.. good re-enlistment incentives IF IIFFFF you have the right job. but 6 months on a boat is much more relieving than a year in the desert being shot at for a war you dont believe in... im just really sick of people dying over something stupid.. and yes i understand the underways.. and drills. and its not an easy life... but somehow i feel i would have turned out soo much different. im just soo stupid for going in for a person who i havent been with in over 2 years now already... its been 3 years since i left home on this adventure..
Is this the meet in June? I think its like 7 and 8th? Ocean City? As long as my leave get approved I should be going.
if you have my car ready then both of us can represent properly. But i know you will so i'm not worried.
he's talking about yours Josh. I don't think he knows about the one in ocean city.

Haha i'll be lucky if my cars even washed for the meet. Its been since....I wanna say November...since i've washed it. The interior is a mess too....
Well, for the last month I haven't even had a job, so a drive through car wash is out of the question. Plus the weather always sucks. AND I don't have anywhere to hand wash it since I lived in an apartment, and now I live in a condo....neither have outside water.
