well area47 i think its cool you can upgrade it for free, didnt you even post you were tired of testing everything out cause you wanna wait too see what happens? and then you get the "out dated" version that only goes to 3k... what are the chances of that...

shoulda listen to your inner voice... getting up there in the posts are we?

we did it right. we hooked it up to pin 53. the last number on there is 56 and we counted down to 53 and it was a brown/white wire. we counted from the other way as well, it is tapped into the right wire. when doing the volt test it would be at zero when pushed in the clutch but when i released it, it went to 12 then started jumpin around everywhere. i pretty savy with installs and i didnt do it wrong. exactly how everything was said.

issues with your clutch switch possibly? theres like twenty people who have had no problems... this leads me to belive its your clutch switch acting up or the wires are rubbing something or getting interference from something... just a thought... im sure youve checked all that **** though

Ok, that is fine. As long as it is 0 volts with the clutch slightly depressed and 12 V with the clutch up, it is fine.

You have a 2-step only WOT Box, so with version 2.2, you won't be able to do the test procedure. Either upgrade to 2.3, or just try the 2-step.

Stomp the clutch, stomp the gas and see if it works.... Be ready to let off the gas if it over-revs...

Ok, upgrade to version 2.3 and then you will be able to complete the testing procedure.

Another quick test to make sure you have the ignition wires right is to just unplug the WOT box and make sure the car doesn't start.

I had no problem with the install, did it in about an hour, and that included me taking my friends car to go back to my house and get my soldering gun.

I love it, and its fun to intimmidate people with at a light, lol. I definately noticed that I didnt have the 2.3 when I reset the rpm, and it was higher, lol.

Thanks guys!

a friend of mine does that to me in his twin turbo lincoln at stop lights. he keeps trying to get me to get his car to shoot flames. i won't do it because he likes his boost knob too much.

Should look something like this:

Nah, seriously. You shouldn't be able to see anything if done cleanly.
