New guy from Oklahoma

New here, purchased a 2008 HHR SS about a month ago.
Ordered a ZZP catless downpipe, along with their pcm. The car runs great, I'm amazed with the performance that it has.

Plans are

New OEM struts/shocks
Pedders Springs
ZZP intercooler
TTR rear swaybar
ZZP engine mount
New fenders, and get all the scratches buffed out of the paint.

If theres anyone else in the Tulsa area with a hhr/cobalt ss let me know, id let to meet a few people with similar cars.

I'd personally stay away from Pedder springs, what are you looking for performance low or a bit of a mix?

For performance the clear choice is YYZ springs

Median I'd say SSC springs

For low on springs I'd say H&R sport springs.

Also get a powell rear sway bar it's leagues ahead of the others.

Lastly I've never heard anything bad about either the Powell or ZZP rotated mounts although both OTTP (heard as long as it's not the voided mounts it's good) and TTR (can't think of anything off the top of my head) make them too. Powell was the first to make them, the others are copies of his product.

Used to be near that area, now I'm in north OKC. There's a few of us around but not many.

Thanks for the info! I want it slightly lower, I'm very happy with the way the car handles. I'll definitely look into the powell sway bar, and the different motor mounts.

The YYZ will be your best bet then, they lower it a bit, and are the best for handling. I have a set and absolutely love them.
