AS for the G85 trans, easiest way is to jack the car up and spin the wheels. if they both spin the same way than its LSD.
Yuppppp .... Definitely been in an accident .... But for what I payed I didn't care to much .... the engine bay is very clean .... The rest of the car, not so much.

I'm gonna try and realigned the bumper and clean it up, on a budget as best as I can.

I'm gonna try and sound the wheels then.

Also .... Any tips on what way to jack the car up without wrecking oinch weld or anything?

Also I'm having a heck of a time getting info on replacing the tensioner .... Powell says it's a five minute swap for him in one thread ....
Any ideas?

Your not selling yours are ya?
There's an awesome one for sale in Burlington!
I'm worried all Cobalt SS's are disappearing .... Haha.

seems Hamilton has boring cars .... Maybe I just don't get out much .... This summer will be different .... Gonna do a trip to Port Colborne with my ricer Bros and roll though the Welland tunnels which will be fun ....
Buttttt my car is gonna be a fairly big project before it's ship shape.

My SS is staying with me, no intention of selling it. I quite enjoy my SS, I don’t have any visual mods, I don’t have stickers on my car and I have the low rise wing so most assume I’m stock or non turbo. Only thing I’m doing this year is painting/powder coating the rims

Awesome .... Keep what's good 😊 ....
So it will take people by surprise .... Haha

I wish mine had a duckbill type spoiler .... And it's yellow so it's quite over the top looking .... Wish it was a little more subtle.

At one point it isn't worth selling these cars cuz there's not really anything to replace them.

So this summer will decide whether I keep it .... I'm not majorly into interiors .... So thats why these interiors don't bother me .... Infact my first car a few years ago was an LS Equinox haha ....

any meets around Hamilton/Burlington area?

Taunt or Not??

On my other thread .... I've posted this .... Should I just continue swapping the tensioner for now?
perhaps it'll take the slack out?

Nothing looks out of place .... Just that droop in there ....

Engine likely doesn't even have 100000 km on it ....

I just like advice from lots of different people before I go and change the whole timing system or just replace the tensioner and break some other weak part.
