SS/SC on NAWZZ
At any normal Cobalt nitrous levels, you barely have to pull timing anyway. When you're trying to run a 100 shot and have to take out 5-6 degrees of timing from stage maps, well, then you notice it. But it's not bad.
Well it gives you a high octane mode and a "separate tune" for the nitrous so your not running around on the same tune even off the bottle with your timing dropped. At least that's how I take it, haven't really looked into it.
You also ran alot of bottles through your SS/SC right? Any problem?

A basic 2.8"/50 shot car is downright nasty on the highway, and will beat any M62 setup out there. I ran guys with meth, small pulleys, all kinds of ****, and it wasn't even close. I was still running a stock exhaust manifold too. Well, ported, but whatever. A well-bolted LSJ with a 75 shot would give most TVS cars a run for a lot less money. Hell, you could stay on 42lb injectors and pump gas to do it. I did
Yeah, I blew it up twice, but I was being greedy and pushing the car harder than I knew I should. First time was just too much timing, I was running full stage two maps, a 60-65ish jet with the bottle way overheated, on real tires. Car spun 2nd from a 40 roll, then hooked back up. Popped a piston.
Second time wasn't really the nitrous, I have a feeling it was previous damage from me abusing the car for 6 months with the cracked piston, but it split a sleeve.
I did setup another car on bottle that never had a problem up to a 90 shot, just on my car I took chances.

Exactly. I switched the nitrous jet out to a .040, and ran it like that for a long time. Hurt a lot of people's feelings on that setup, car was just an absolute animal from a 40 roll.
The main help is from the cooling effect, so the initial gain from ANY nitrous is good. Smaller steps up from there on out. A 50 shot is good for at least 50whp, a 75 really won't gain another 25whp, probably 15-20.

It's a perfect system if you want to run nitrous.
All the info you need is posted here;

Because the Stage 3 tune (unless customized) can only supply enough fuel for a 50, anything larger you need additional fuel. Therefore, the fuel jet just becomes 'make-up' fuel.
Edit:
Alternately, you could just ask Trifecta to turn off the additional fueling, and use the Stage 3 tune for only the timing reduction and trigger.... then you could use a full wet kit.
I'll be running an 'oversized' wet kit on that tune.

There is more info on the Stage 3 system, including diagrams, here;

Note that the above is the actual GM Stage 3 manual... the Trifecta tune has some differences, which are discussed in the thread I posted earlier.
lol, i didnt know **** about nitrous either. My gf didnt want me to install it but i kept installing small parts of the kit every once in awhile over the winter. Where is your nitrous management unit at?
don't have one. fuel line from rail goes into the fuel solenoid and to the nozzle. nitrous line goes from bottle to solenoid to nozzle. everything activated via a toggle switch and actually sprayed with the green button i posted
*** a window switch!
