Ah i understand what you did. Yea i didnt want to go through cutting hoses and ****, the adaptor section is i think 3 seprate pieces. Worked pretty good, took a few times to get it to stop spraying fuel all over the place but thats cuz i was lazy and didnt put a clamp on it..lol.

btw, i love that 350z, im planning on getting the nismo kit for my Z, i love the front end. Is that a aftermarket lip on the fascia? Or is that how the 350 is

That's the stock 350Z Nismo package. #1456

I'll post pics when I get around to installing all of my stuff. Car is going in to try and get the input shaft rattle fixed under warranty though, so i'm going 100% back to stock before that happens.

Thats the one reason I don't like those adaptors. Fuel leaks are annoying and very dangerous, my solution is o-ringed just like stock, using the factory size o-ring and everything, just two instead of 1.

Here's my set up. Eventually i will cover the lines and make a small plastic gaurd to cover the solonoids, but i was done for the day.

One switch is for the bottle warmer, one for the NOS system.

This light comes on When the sytem is spraying.

Dyno tune bottle warmer with pressure switch adj in 50psi increments. link... http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...p?idproduct=17

Nitrous pressure guage

Nitrous pressure sensor came with warmer

Relay for Bottle Warmer

Wide open throttle switch mounted to throttle peddle

First i tried the recommended jets for a "50bhp shot" which NOS said was 30/22. That gave me NO noticable difference in power and a extremely rich condition. (which i predicted due to our high fuel pressure)

So next I tried a 36/18 which would be a "75bhp shot" which i knew may be a tad lean but i was logging with hpt so wasnt too worried about that. turned out to be pretty lean, AFR jumped into the 13's so i shut down and pulled back in the garage.

So i figured lets try the 36 with a 20 fuel. Again this was rated for "75bhp shot" this gave me a nice increase in power (enough to spin second) and a slightly rich condition with AFR going into the high 10's while commanding a 11.5 this is were i stopped for the day.

Next day I bought a 42 NOS SS jet and will try it with a 22 fuel jet later tonight and probably take a video if im bored enough.

Doing my own calculations the 36/20 should be 50whp, 65bhp and the 42/22 should be 70whp and about 85bhp. My track set-up with slicks will be a 52/26 which should give me 100whp and be a 120bhp shot on RG that will be the upper limits of my bottle cause the sniper kit does not have a "high flow valve" thats about as much as i would spray on a single nozzle pre blower set-up anyway.

Is anybody using their nitrous set-ups with GM Stage 3? Or have any of you considered getting the new tunable version of GM Stage 3 from Trifecta to use with their nitrous systems?

I am.

the only thing i dont like is its a dry shot on inj close to maxxed out already... unless trifecta offers it for 60's as well i dont know i do my own tuning. its really not hard at all. just takes a mon or two and a cpl tanks of gas and you'll have it down.

just dont push it till you know what your doing.

I never understood the point of running a WOT switch. I've heard it's safer in certain ways but what if your spinning and 100% full wot and spraying then the car gets traction and the rpm's dip lower or go down while it's still spraying. I believe that's how joe blew up the first time. I believe that's the reason why he told me to spray with a button instead of trying to use a WOT switch.

I ran mine intially as a button setup when I first installed it, but later I hooked it up to the pedal and boy was that fun.

JW, how is your sniper kit holding up? My kit was nice but i'd rather start fresh!

i run it because its way faster that way, holding a button then releasing + shifting + waiting till the clutch is all the way out + keeping eyes on the road. is just a bit too much for me. I have ran it on a trans brake button before in the past and when i switched to a wot switch it was so much smoother of a transition i will never go back. but what i am going to do is throw my second stage on a trans brake button.

to each there own.

if you havent tried a wot switch i suggest you give it a shot at least. you might like it.

and as far as motor goes i am not worried at all about mine. its been sleeved and has been forged for 2 yrs. i would spray a 200 shot and not think twice about it.

I have been hahn stage 5 turbo, then custom big turbo, then twincharged. And now im back to M62 on nitrous. funny how things work out.

but as far as spinning and hooking goes, i run DR with anything above a 60 shot. and i have a WOT BOX with dual features which will do window switch also just havent hooked it up yet.

Still curious, something doesn't add up. Posting Cbodner's vid and then claining to have never been over a 75 shot when this is in the dyno thread..

yeah with the sniper kit the fuel supply line is kinda short so your very limited on soleniod placement. that spot actually worked good for me.

gotcha, i don't mind holding down my over sized door bell button. haha. hungryhip-ccp, you were twin charged?

dan, i don't mind the nos sniper kit. still works for me. 2+ years for sure it's been on my car and everything still works fine. motor seems to be holding up. last time i was down the shore with max we compression tested it and it was 205/200/210/210. i think my trans has some type of problem however maybe the whining noise will be there forever and it will just keep working?!? not sure.

*also, to everyone else who is billybaldone or w.e. u guys keep saying. that's not me.

i did i went hahn 5. then i went big turbo 60 trim after i sleeved the block, then i didnt like the lag so decided to throw the sc back on and go twnchd then i decided it was way too much power and wheel spin for this car. so i decided to sell off the turbo stuff and go M62 with spray which will get me about 320-350whp and have a huge usable powerband.

when i went back to sc only i was like man this car is fun to drive again!!! but of coarse i needed more than 240-260whp so i said hmmm i guess i'll just spray this biatch if im gonna race or go to the track.

its been a long road, and i wasted alot of money like usual but thats what i do with every car ive owned since i was 16.. i take it to the limit then sell it and get something else to play with.

This is my hobby!!! well and i fly RC planes, shoot guns, ride my 450 and well... im thinking of bulding a sand car next with a turbo ls motor.

life is fun i try and make the most of it.

Hungry, where is your fuel feed line coming from?

Edit: where did you get that fitting from?

Did you test fire it? I always hook everything up as it would be except for leaving the nozzle out of the actual plate or wherever it's hooked, and activate the system to make sure it's working. You'll feel a 75 shot for sure. It's probably not spraying nitrous.
