Anyways, I'm running a 55 shot on my SS/SC. The last time I trying spraying it was on the dyno. The n2o noid wasn't working, so I need to figure that out.

On a side note, I just realized I need to hurry up and rebuild the engine. My compression on all 4 cylinders is running no higher than 190. This wasn't caused by nitrous.
Nothing wrong with that compression, as long as it's even all across. Unless you see 190/190/190/150, it's fine.

It's consistant on all 4 cylinders. Within 5 psi of each other.

Then there's nothing wrong. Mine were all 190-195 across until I broke a ringland, then #4 dropped about 50 psi. My boy's SE-R was the same, around 190 on all 4, after he broke a piston, for some reason

Actual number will vary from gauge to gauge and car to car, as long as it's consistent across all cyls, you're fine.

This ^^ Mine was 210-210-210-160

Tested it again after a thousand or so miles and they were even thanks to oil on top of #4 sealing that ring lol

Will different jets from different kits work with each other. I have a Zex kit but will NOS jets work in my fogger? Reason why i ask is a local shop has the jets i need to make a 50shot in my car to test it out really quick. Jets are only a few bucks but the guy said he THOUGHT he heard they dont work with each other.

The jets should be the same, just look them over to make sure. I know the NOS ones are stainless, the Zex ones are brass, but I believe the dimensions are pretty much the same. If nothing else, put them in and try.

What are you using, around a .024/.016 or so on each side?

Well i havent decided what i want to test it out with but once i get it fully running its going to be .16/.30 on each side. And ill see how the car reacts to that. If afr and knock and all that looks ok, i might increase shot size.

.030 is probably in the 25-30 range, so a 50-60 shot. Stock tune will take that just fine.

What are you using to tune, Osiris?

Cobb AccessPort. Do you mean 50-60shot total stock tune will be fine or 50-60 in each intake. I'm not going to test that cuz rumor has it the 370z does knock sometimes on stock tune. And until i get something to monitor it, im not going to go that big. 25shot in each intake would be fine if i can find the right jets. The NOS Jets do look the same size to fit in my fogger but i dont wanna take the chance..lol

A 'standard' 50 shot is a .037 nitrous jet (one nozzle), so a .026 in each nozzle will give you the same area, and therefore about the same shot, 50ish hp.

Let me know how you like the Cobb, I'm considering getting one for my HR, as long as they are still offering the Race tuner. Similar function to Osiris but for a lot less money.

Joe has a lot more to offer to anyone using nitrous or planning on using nitrous. Anything i know is from what he's told me.

Big thanks to you Joe! I remember when I was installing my n2o kit asking you a bunch of questions and also the cx h/e. You probably wanted to kill me but you were pretty patient and chill about everything.

ps. that 3" cia dp you sold me that i got a cat welded to it broke at the flex part and also i blew the **** up out of the cat. lol it got all fcked up. couple hundred dollars later i'm back to running a regular 3" cia catless dp which is the same as what you sold me. lol such a big waste of money.

does anyone here know what the non loudess aftermarket exhaust would be for the 2.0 ss/sc? The resonator on my stock one blew out and sounds like **** so i'm debating on getting a resonator and welding it back in the stock exhaust (same stock resonator) or maybe getting a corsa touring exhaust. anyone have any thoughts on this? running a cia header/3" catless dp/stock cat back right now.

GMPP exhaust is by far the quietest, best sounding, exhaust you can run. That header will be kinda loud regardless, but it makes power so....

I don't mind helping, you are not the only person who called me with a lot of questions. I am one of the few on here who doesn't mind helping people. When I was modding my car, the few people who had already done it wouldn't share, so I had to figure things out. Cost me a lot of money and time, but I don't see why I need to be bitter about it and not help other people. This is the most ass-backwards community when it comes to that. Every other car forum, people will help those starting out if they are sincere and willing to put in some effort.

Damn, I bought it early 06, that exhaust is getting old

It sounded fantastic on the stock car, and with the downpipe, and with the ported stock header, and with the CIA header. Best setup was the ported mani and 3" downpipe. Made it sound like it had cams for some reason
