hey guys i got back from thunder valley dragway in south dakota yesterday and it was my first time ever being at a track and im a little upset about my times i got 15.1 for my best time but i really struggled to get a good launch spun through first almost evertime

 

Today on the way back to duluth, I saw a black SS w/ high rise wing at 12pm just south of Mora heading south on 35. All back w/ I think tint.

good news, it's up and running!!! running 8lbs of boost on a stock pulley. now getting fuel squared away.

What was wrong with it?

 

well... the tune that was givin to me was not setup for an "lsj' (scales, ect)... it was setup for a trailblazer TB and some other stuff. kinda fubar'd. took one thread and 5 min on the hp tuners forum to fix this.

then on top of that, we figured out why i wasn't running boost... and why 2.2's and 2.4's don't hookup the boost bypass. stupid computers... so now once we disconnected the boost bypass from the intake and the gauge, i has boost!

Dont worry about it. Its tough to learn how to launch in these cars. I usually launch at 2000 or 2500 rpms and ease into it a bit.

So far Ive just pulled out the one that we saw going in at a 45*...I cant find that other one anymore ...I'll see how she holds up with just the one repaired.
