Way too early. Especially with you driving way early in the morning when it's still going to be below freezing.

its suppose to snow later this week, its a way bad idea to put summer tires on unless you have the time to put snow tires on later again.

I don't think it's too early...granted my "summer" tires are all-seasons for now...Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions in 205/60 15 form...HELL YEAH!

Can't decide what tires for my MSR 045's though...I want either 225/40 or 235/40 because they'll be fairly close (I have to have my speedo set for my 205/60's to get them to work correctly because I'm getting 205/60 winter tires next season...I'm done with 195/60).

Anyway, so 225/40 or 235/40 will be close.

235/35 would work, but will actually be a little shorter than 205/60's are.

245/35 would be perfect, but I don't think I could get those to work without rubbing and I truly have no use for something that wide with so little power coming out of my car.

As for tires, I've narrowed it down to pretty much either Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport or Continental ExtremeContact DWS...Bridgestone are UHP summer and Continental are UHP all-season like my 960AS are.

what size are your msr summer rims?

honestly the best bang for the buck uhp tire is the kdw2. but thats summer only and I think you are looking for a all season?

I've got the 18x8 with an offset of +35...not that it matters, but they're 4x100 and Raven Black with the red pinstripe.

I did switch to winter tires and agree there awesome! ...just saying, temps around 33F in early AM is nothing to worry about.

Hitting black ice on any tire will *** you up if you hit the brakes.

Here's the thing though...the Bridgestone is rated No. 1 for it's class (UHP summer category) and the Continental is rated No. 1 for it's class (UHP all-season).

I'm looking at grip along with tread wear. I want something that will be fine with dry or wet conditions plus will last me more than a couple seasons. Especially since I have this pizza delivery gig, I'm thinking I want the Continentals because of the 50k mile warranty.

Your only going to want to be driving on the 18's during the warmer months so I say get the BFG KDW2 tires. There great all around tires and have great wet traction.

Any good local places to get them besides Discount Tire? Otherwise should I just order online at TireRack or elsewhere? I most likely won't be getting them in time for this summer...if I do, it's going to be the end of the summer.

Also, I don't know why I'm asking because it really doesn't matter to me that much, but I've heard a lot of bad things about road noise...are they really that loud?

I was out and washed my car really quick today...nothing special, so I thought I'd take a couple pics...plus I decided to check my plugs just to check them...haven't done that since I bought the car and even though they're supposed to be good until 100k, I wanted to see how they look.

Damn winter on Sportlines...I couldn't avoid a big ******* chunk of ice/snow and cracked my bumper at the bottom...I was looking at it today and I can physically wiggle the entire bumper up and down a good inch or two...is that normal? Are these bumpers just that shitty that they fit so loose or did I wind up loosening something up when I smacked that piece of ice?

My dirty and plain engine bay. I like it for now though.

How do my plugs look? I can't remember what the coloration means...I'm assuming they look fine, but I really don't know it's been so long since I've had to change a set.

I say drill a small hole at the end of the crack to help keep it from getting any bigger. I think the stock bumpers are made out of pretty decent material, mine has held up to some pretty decent blows.

Hope this help you determine the shape your plugs are in \/

I have been keeping my eye's open for a USM bumper from either LT or SS/NA...those are the 2 I'd take. I like the fact that the LT has the lower grille's that I could switch out along with the upper grille. Plus there's better air flow to my Injen with that over my LS bumper. On top of that, I won't be called an "SS wannabe" by some of the idiots on this site....I'd just be an "LT wannabe"...lol.

I agree though, I do really like the SS bumper and if I got one, I'd want the SS sedan rear bumper as well. Side skirts would be nice as well since it would look off, but it would get pretty expensive in the end so I am thinking just an LT bumper is best for me.

And thanks for that link rally, I guess according to coloration they are fine..there aren't any deposits or other issues that I could see. Just wanted to make sure.

If I were to get an SS/TC, here's the one I would want...I don't know why, but I love the look of the sedans...I wonder if they'd take $18k out the door...time to talk to the wife...lol, j/k.
