LOL, yes, Melissa is going, she's the one that invited me. Hubby is on OLOA right now, or rather will be shortly, so I'm headed out there tonight, we're leaving to meet Paul in Harrisburg at 5am, then we're off on our 11 hour driving adventure.

Well, better to stay silent and let people THINK you're a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt

Dan, I meant to ask, how are the sportlines now that they've settled? You scrape on bumps or anything?

Also there were no camber or caster bolts on it. I guess they aren't adjustable other than toe so no real need for an alignment.

News: OMG, the orange terror is alive again.

Sportlines are good so far. I scrape pulling in and out of my driveway and on really bad angles (like coming off of a steep hill onto a level street). Bumps are fine. I've hit some hard ones though and it's not fun.

Rear support bar has been off my car since Sunday. If anyone wants one, I have it and it's of no use to me anymore.

So I have been informed via TXT. He said it sounds "normal for Vibrant".

Ironic isn't it, every other car when it sounds GOOD you breathe a sigh of relief and if it sounds horrible you panic. With Vibrant, it's the complete opposite. When someone says "Man, that sounds NICE" we'll know it's time to tear down the motor again.....

I would say I hate that exhaust, but that would insure that it stays around forever, probably mutating to carry over to future vehicles. So I won't say I hate it.....

It's not so much loud, it's tonal quality. I don't mind loud turbo exhausts. I will now close the subject of Vibrant or else there I may be awaked this weekend by a mysterious orange car cruising through the campground and revving at our tents....

That's classic......

Where's the fun of having a car if you can't do that kinda stuff? I mean... if you think of your car as transportation and such... why bother being on a forum where you talk about the FUN you have with your car

OMG it runs as stated above. So effing loud too. No blow by, no smoke. Runs great. Gives a little smoke when you go into PE, but the rings need to seal, so I will be nice to it.

THe battery died, and the starter was making weird noises, scared the **** out of me when I went to first start it.

BTW, does anyone know if letting the car sit for so long can ruin brakes? My brakes are gone, no stopping power, and when I jam on them, the pads just slide across the rotors. Some type of cleaning stuff maybe? I never took the calipers or anything apart, the car just sat for about 4 months.

I think BJ and I are getting together tonight, so if anyone is bored, give us a call.

Well, they could be a bit rusty, but more likely, you're used to Alicia's brakes now and not the OEM stuff....

You could spray the rotors down with some brake cleaner and wipe them down. Maybe some air bubbles from moisture sitting that long though.... who knows.

At least running is going well.... stopping is another issue.

Cam sensor is in wrong BTW. It only throws the missfire codes when it struggles to start up. After that it seems to running perfectly.
