Yep... that's where all the $$ is beyond that. These cars take alot of oil as well.

At least they're getting smarter with my car...

They used to put the date and miles on the sitcker... then they stopped putting dates since I go thru 3K miles in 6 weeks.

Now, they don't even put 3K on... they put 6K on the new one.

yeah my aunts dealer is a chrysler/jeep/dodge... thats where i bought the GTO at... from their used lot... i take it there for oil only, because they get at cost pricing from carquest, and i get cheap labor... i have to call 2 hours ahead because they dont carry my oil and its always a big spectacle when my car is pulled in, all the techs come over...

they put stickers on for 3k all the time lol

Holy Crap!

I just checked and the brakes and tire totes I ordered last night are already @ the New Stanton UPS center..... that rules! Maybe I'll actually get them this morning and use the totes for this weekend.

That would rule.

Damn rear brakes pads aren't going to be here until next week.!

Brian, I will get you your brake fluid ASAP. Sorry I forgot Wednesday. If worst comes to worst, I will send it with Wes if he goes this Wednesday.

No auto-x for me this weekend. I need a weekend to just stay in and chill. And clean. And stuff. Have to make room for a computer desk. And my living room carpet needs scrubbed. Joy.

No big rush. I still have a few places to talk to and see if they can do the bleed.

I might even talk to the *gasp* dealer if I have to. Last resort though.

I need to pick up the rotors in the next week, plus get the Koni's ordered from Sam.

Say Hello to Dick Cheney while you're there. He's always at an "undisclosed location"

I saw it driving by when I was going to the dealer last night. I saw the ls2gto sticker on the pass. 3/4 window.

Work or Elvis' Chapel of Love for marriage? If it's the latter, where may I address the sympathy card?

EXACTLY. When performing a marriage it's "Till death do us part" yet in the courtroom it's more commonly known as "Life without the possibility of parole".....

Hahaha... just teasing.

So I'm the proud new owner of a Turbonetics T3/TO4E Hybrid turbo: .48 a/r, stage 3 wheel, 50 trim. Woot. Comes already polished. Should be here in a week to week and a half.

Dan, thast turbo is ok, but that's nothing unless you ordered it with the Motec system Exhuast.

Denny, are you getting used to the car again with the stock-style springs back on it???

Since I've only seen the car 2 or 3 times, I couldn't tell much difference appearance wise, but I'm sure you do.

I actually LOVE it...no worries of scraping ****, it handles A LOT better, and it's more comfortable. Should have done it sooner!

I figured you'd end up liking it in the end. WHile the lower look might be cooler, around here, it's just not practical. I'd be worried about scrapes and such as well.

Not like it's a car that only comes out to play on weekends.....

I thought the car handled great with the stock springs. I still have that in my head and get a big grin thinking about how insanely quick that car is.

Like getting hit in the back of the head with a hammer... only to realize that it's actually your head hitting the seat...lol

HAHAHA

Like I said, I would have never, ever just put lowering springs on, but since it came that way I let it go.

Good luck this weekend!

Wait.... that car came with them??? How so? Did you buy that new or pre-owned?

Or does the MR/SE come with them and the standard EVO come with different ones?

THanks! I'm hoping for a good result. I might not have any competition in my class this weekend. If this guy Ryan shows up that was at evnt #1, then I will. That guy in the blue WRX wagon won't be there at all, and he's leading the points.

I'm shooting for a decent PAX finsih like I had 2 weekends ago as well. Top 20 would be nice, but top 30 would be great too. Lots of GOOD drivers there this weekend.

Yeah it had about 1000 miles on it when I got it, and the guy already had lowering springs on
