ya, no real point to do anything but long tubes on a v8

also not sure if I wanna be another guinea goat and try out the L76 Intake (6.0L Truck Intake) / L92 Heads (6.2L Escalade/Denali Heads) build up

if I do that, then I'm going to want to look at cams little bit lower on the intake side, and higher exhaust side. If not, then probably going to go with a more even split cam.

Probably looking at Durations around 230-237ish, and lifts around 580-600s

If I do the intake/heads with the cam... then id love to see 480-500rwhp

no heads/intake 450rwhp or bust. So then my goat will have to learn how to huff gas.

I've owned a C5 Z06... awesome car, wish that bitch in the jimmy didnt slam into me. Not sure which class you wanna run in, but if youre looking for a track car. Find a clean 99 FRC Vette (fixed roof coupe, same body as the z06).. slap on some nice ported 243 heads (LS2/LS6 heads) decent cam shaft, and an LS6 intake manifold. Nice set of long tube headers etc. Do more HP than a stock Z06, and I'm sure you'd be modding the Z06's suspension/brakes anyways, voila... you just made a track monster for less than you did for a modded z06

Elise... eh, I'm not a fan of them, I guess it would be a cool car with a rainbow sticker on the back, Exige or go home!

Operator remarks...only went above 115 once and quickly came back to 80..which is what he clocked me at cause i travelled 80 for a while cause the cop had his highbeams on...and he was about to get a big olde PA brake check when the lights came on. I brake boosted from a 70 roll and smoked him by tractor trailers (police magnum didnt stand a chance)...took him a while to catch up and pace me at 80.
