LAWL. So I'm driving down 30 tonight towards Wal-Mart in North Versailles, and I look in my rearview and see a black Cobalt behind me with foglights, wanted to see if it was another SS. As it got closer, I noticed it had stickers all over it like they thought it was some big, bad racecar or something. Even had a big "Hoosier" sticker on the front. Should have given the guy a ricer violation for a sticker representing equipment not currently installed on the vehicle. THEN after waving feverishly at Brian out the sunroof,...the guy decides he's going to wave back at me!!!!!!! Pffft. Ricer.

 

Kinda unexpected outcome of a random race, tonight...esp. since I've raced Matt, and he can keep a car on me, if we go from a roll. Or pretty much whatever length he gets from a dig. And I know Denny can pull a little on Matt.

Anyway, went to CoGos, a block away, to get milk, via a certain tunnel (twice) Only like 4 miles outta the way On the way back, ended up in the turning lane, beside a 300C SRT-8. Which was good for me, since, if he wanted to run, it'd be from a roll. Well he did.

Soon as we got into the tunnel, about 35mph, I heard him punch it. I did at same moment, in 2nd gear. Bottom of second he pulled a half car. At the top, when his car shifted, I got it back. Bottom of third he inched ahead a little. Top of 3rd I started inching, until my quad doors were at about his nose. Had to shift, and he jumped ahead, until we were about even. Once he shifted, I put about a 1/2 car, which grew a little bit in 4th. We let off.

Basically a battle of the powerbands, possibly aerodynamics once we got up to speed. He got me low and mid-range, I gained anything back at the top. I figured he'd be a monster top of his 3rd into 4th, but ended up like that.

From a dig I would've died...so maybe we can pick on Denny from a 30 - 40 roll? haha

 

Only chance in hell you have to get Denny or Matt is from a 2nd 40 roll, and that is if your lucky. Anything other than that, they got ya. Big V8 FTW unless you got a snail.

 

Yup. From a dig, would be destroyed. I was surprised even by the outcome of the roll race. Though if we kept at it in 4th, I'd start bogging, cause that's a long ass gear, and my IAT2s would go nuts.

Thats great Jon. Maybe he will start hanging out with us. Dan is close to getting a Charger R/T to come out who was talking a bit of smack.

Well, after my last experience, I'll tempt fate and run SRT-8s from a roll Dig, no way. Well, I mean I will, but I know the outcome

The R/Ts? Bring em on. Last one I raced, I destroyed. Stock, I think they MIGHT break into the 100s, if they're lucky. Possibly high, high 13s (RWD FTW). Depending on which of us runs, I'd say stockish LSJs are a more even match for the R/Ts, while us tuned ones just gotta hope the SRT-8s or Goats, somehow, mess up an automatic launch lol

Does anyone know a car wash with a good undercarrage wash? I have a rather large oil leak. Once I fix it I want to clean her up.

 

Already got some other plans im hoping next Friday, pep boys - mt. pleasant.

 

I'm working until about 5 or 6, so I won't be there at all.

I'm going to try to actually go OUT tonight after ai get home and cleaned up.

Think we're heading to TJ's.

Dave, Dan, Shaun and I all played 360 online last night after a brief trip to BWW in GBG. More video games today probably. I'm debating on going out to Best Buy and picking up the Ultimate Matrix Collection on HD-DVD.

 

Spending a sat night playing 360 seems FTL to me.
