hello everyone! Im currently in the military stationed in Texas. However, I get out in less than a year. Around January to be exact. Well, I am from new jersey but my wife is from pittsburgh.. we are definitely not moving to jersey due to cost of living, but I have gone to pittsburgh with her many times and absolutely love it. Its up there on one of the places we might move to after i get out. I was just wondering what the cobalt scene was like there? lots of people? local tuner? meet a lot? let me know!

 

A couple of us hang out alot, and I seem to have an impromtu shop for doing builds and mods, heh.

J&S is sketchy at best. He screwed me and my friends around about getting a car tuned. We sat up at his shop and watched him sit on his dyno smoking cigarettes eating pizza for like 4 hours and then he told us "uhh theres no time to do this today, drop the car off or come back".. **** that **** dude.

Tuning is the single most important thing you will ever do to your car. Get it done right, pay a little extra and don't be afraid to travel. Money spent now will save $1000s later.

Anyone know if it's possible to do head studs on a LSJ by simply removing the valve cover and doing the bolts one at a time, while keeping all of the valvetrain in place and not touching either manifold?

I've heard it's do-able as long as you go one bolt at a time so that the head gasket seal isn't broken...
