Pittsburgh Crew < You
Jeff... I will be curious to hear if you think that Bracebar helps.... I've been pondering one for my car with all teh autoX and track days I want to do...
I also wish someone else would want a supercharger install this spring, haha. Id give a good price to get to install another setup for someone.

thanks guys!
do yins do any local meets or anything like that? track days/meet ups/etc? would def like to get involved in some of that if it's out there.
SO happy the weather is finally cooperating this weekend. gotta fix up a big ass crack in the bottom section of my front bumper cover then i'm gonna do the evo mod with some plasti-dip. thinkin about doin the wheels with plasti-dip as well, they're really scuffed up and not in great shape overall.

She's getting better, still not eating or drinking like she should, but her fever's gone and she doesn't seem to have the runs anymore.
stock or aftermarket on that hood? if it's cf and the price is right i might consider taking it off your hands.
nice yellow balt btw. yellow ftw

Jeff, any chance you wanna come by this weekend and tune my car?
Pens: There is the weekly car cruises all around Pitt, Im running all the local AutoX between the 2 SCCA chapters and North Hills Sports Car Club, uhhh. sometimes some of us hang out up at the mall.
Aside from that, we may be doing a BBQ/Mod day at my shop in the South Hills next month. Dunno yet.

Adjusted the rear shocks today. They have 36 adjustment Dampening so I set them right at 18 as a starting point. Ride feeds good so far. Im going to set the fronts the same way. Still need to get my hardcore bar on and install the splitter
saw 2 red ss s/c or t/c on my way home from work today (i work in oakland), one was on 5th ave, other was either on blvd of allies or 279, cant remember.
ahh nice! is that the one over at north park? i used to go watch that almost every sunday morning-i'd go get breakfast at brueger's on mcknight and watch autox
i'm always down for stuff like that, and like meets and hangin out and stuff. bbq/mod day sounds like total win.
@rephrase-lovin the evo mod, looks great on your car. i'm gonna attempt it on my car tomorrow. did you wash your car before you did it? any tips for a plasti-dip noob lol?
really diggin doin the bowtie on the trunk with plasti-dip too. did you use clearcoat over that?
if i can get it to look alright on my bumper, i might use it on my wheels with clearcoat. they're pretty scuffed up from the previous owner so itd be nice to have a fresh surface on them.
@mongorat-i seriously love your balt lol. one of the cleanest, nastiest yellows ive seen. how do you drive around here with your car so low though haha? stance looks mean as hell. very very aggressive. well done.

Well I finally installed my Track Dog Air Splitter today. It took about 4 hours with most of the time spent taking the bumper cover off and on. heres a few pics. Ill get some better ones later. Tomorrow the hardcore sway bar goes on an its off to the alignment shop

Surprised I haven't seen you, I work in Oakland too. I see an Orange SS/SC that lives on McKee place, a laser blue SS/SC up on 5th, an arrival blue 2.4 that's around from time to time, and a laser blue 2.4 that parks on Semple. I've seen others, but those are the ones I see semi-regularly.
I didn't clear anything because it was my first time using plasti dip. Honestly its kinda hard to mess up because it seems to dry evenly. Hardest part is removing the tape, the trick is to remove it before it dried but not when its too wet either. I only washed the parts that I was plasti dipping then washed the whole thing about 5 6 hours later. Thanks for the compliments

ill make sure to remove the tape quick-i saw the one how-to thread where dude didnt take his tape off for awhile and it got f'd in the a haha. i want this to look clean, i mean, if im gonna do somethin, gonna do it right.
i also picked up some simple green max to clean the bumper then i figure with the temps being what they are today ill either was it this evening or tmrw.
btw how many coats did you use?

damn i wanna see those ss/sc's, and the 2.4's. i think i might've seen the 2.4's before, and honestly the one ss i saw that was either sc or tc migt've been orange now that i think about it. not sure tho.
well didnt attempt to fix the crack in the bumper or do the evo mod today. too cold for jb weld, too windy for plasti-dip lol.
cleaned her up though and snapped a few quick pics. my camera's phone completely sucks so i apologize for the crappy picture quality. this car is still as-is as i bought it appearance wise, haven't had a chance to fix a lot of the little stuff wrong with it visually.
