Looks like it was just a head gasket. Now the plan is to just repair with cheap GM parts and put her back together. Then we do the big build when I have all parts in my possession. That will probably be 2-3 weeks from now. Need the car to be fast@r with a 1200ax for the first day at PRP.

Here are some pictures:

I found out why I was missing about 4qts of oil when I drained it. It all seemed to have gotten stuck and burned with the #4 Cylinder.

Good stuff. Atleast it was only a head gasket. Although since you are going to rebuild it anyways maybe you would have liked to see a melted piston or something? You didnt try to break it hard enough

^^^ Exactly. But I haven't really driven this car since November 1st. So least I can have it fixed it by this weekend probably and be able to drive it normally. Until I get a Flyby and I hear that pop noise again.

Sorry Brian... I had already left work and went straight to the gym. I just got home a little bit ago. I would've gone out to eat somewhere.

I say wings at bee-dubs in the Gbg on Thursday evening. I think me, Dan, and Dave might go at like 9ish.

Ah cool. By the way... I guess that's good to hear. I mean, it probably would've been convenient to get it all built while you have it apart.... but at least you're not rushed now.

Sounds good Dan. I just got back from a GREAT F'n steak dinner @ TX Roadhouse.

Man, I think I'm gonna explode.

Drop me a line on Thursday and let me know. I am working OT, but I should be able to make that with no problem. I just won't be out LATE...lol

Perfect timing... I'll probably have to be up at 530 AM Friday... just found out the dress code for the new job is "business-casual". Guess that means I need to buy khaki's.

Dress codes FTL.

Thursday night is now officially a going-away party. Harry sold on eBay tonight and will be leaving tomorrow. Some Eclipse in NC will be his new home.

My work dress code consists of anything except my bday suit. Although they would allow it.

Everybody post "Throttle body." in this thread. That's all you have to say. I just want to see if enough people say that, they'll make one. I want to see what they can do with the TB. I'm thinking it might just be a polished TB, but hopefully they'll bore it.
