Hey Tom yeah i'm just gunna have the shop take it apart replace what they need to and lap and cut the head as well. That way i'm sure it's all nice and whatnot so i can slap it back into my car asap. I will take some of the valves from ya though and give them to the head shop so they don't have to buy new ones and charge me if thats cool.

that works for me, what shop is doing it and how much they charging you??? cause we can at least take the bad ones out so you pay less shop time

Heads up 300 to remove cams, springs, valves and clean/mill/cut valve seats and lap valves and reassemble.

we can remove it all, all you have to have them do is put it all back together lol, call napa in auburn, they quoted me 155 for milling, cleaning and reassembly...

Hah she didn't tell me i'll call heads up in the morning and see if they havent got the part yet and if it's just the intakes. If so i'll call you and pick up tomorrow if possible? Thanks.

hheeellppp!!!

i have an 08 cobalt 2.2 and i replaced the head gasket and followed everything i nmeeded to do and its all back together now and it will not start!!! Ive had it apart 4 times thinking maybe it was out of time but still no luck. checked the pistons to see if maybe i bent the valves but no marks!!!! has anybody ever ran into a problem like this?
