FS: Passport 8500 radar detector

Selling like brand-new radar detector as seen here:
http://www.escortradar.com/x50.htm
I must say if the cops or highway patrol around you use k- or KA band radars like here in New York or this thing is a life saver. I've had this one save me upwards of over two miles away on a curvy road. The laser Detection works well too but i realized if your really speeding and they can see you to get a hit your done with laser. Laser ain't on all the time so they pull the trigger your hit just hope when the warning goes off you can reduce your speed. I turned off the X- radar detection cause alot of alarm systems at banks and supermarkets use it. It can be turn back on though with the push of two buttons. Mine has the red screen and I am asking $225 shipped in the U.S $235 shipped to canada or of course best offer. If anyone in canada wants it i'll send it as a gift and try and spare them the taxes.

I'm not interested, because I have one and I would just like to say that it is a great radar detector at a very reasonable price. Mine has saved me numerous times!!! Good Luck with the sale, it's a very good detector!!

one question though, how do you set it to not pick up the X band? mine goes off all the time as well and would love to turn it off for city driving. thanks.
