No downpipe? That header requires a vibrant downpipe, in which they dont sell seperately...

No other downpipe will work with this header... None... It is a special length downpipe, that vibrant uses.

You could always have a custom made one, but members need to know this prior to purchasing.

Also keeping in mind if it does not include one, a custom home made one is your only option, as vibrant does not split this up and will not sell just a downpipe.

Maybe it does include a vibrant downpipe, if so, no worries...

Gotta know all the facts, that is most likely why it is cheap, otherwise you need to find out if it is included.

Just have an exhaust shop make you a down pipe.

The fact that the seller doesn't know that the header and DP are a set should tell you something. I don't think I need to spell it out.

if vibrant was smart they would sell the downpipe separately. im sure they would get a lot of orders from customers that have a catless pipe that want a catted or vice versa

Well this blows.. I find this thread after I buy it. However, the main reason I bought it was the fact that it said it bolts to the stock exhaust. I did not know when I won it that it wouldn't work with the stock exhaust. I wrote a message to the seller, hopefully to get a response about it before he ships out, as it was not noted in the auction that it would only work as a set with the Vibrant downpipe and not directly with the stock exhaust. Only after the auction did I find out this info, and needless to say it should have been in the auction so I would not have been in this situation with an item not as described. The message that the OP wrote in the other thread would have been nice to add to the auction to allow bidders to know that it would not bolt up to the stock exhaust as he stated it would. I just bought my Cobalt, so I went by what the auction said. I didn't know any different until now.

I'll call Vibrant first thing in the morning to find out.. I have heard others state they don't sell it separately as well but I will find out and give an update if I hear anything different. Even in the thread link that's posted (text below), the OP stated he called Vibrant and they told him they didn't sell it separately.

I called Vibrant and they said they do NOT sell it separately, only as a set. I have been in discussions with the seller and he is going to give me a refund, I'm sure if you are interested in it he would sell it to you.

you have to say you damaged it before and yes they do sell them because I bought one... you must not have asked the right questions.
