Beware the powdercoated valve covers... theres some temperature they might handle being baked at when curing the powder but any more and you have risked effectively destroying the internal gizmos of it. I was popping my dipstick with a gutted valve cover until i replaced mine. and gutted/same as destroyed powdercoated one IMO lol

2. actually didn't install my tvs or RSFS yet
3. thanks for the heads up... probably why i was so hesitant myself all these years. i got the valve cover off of blackwdoss and i think he was built or turboed and said he never had any problems with the valve cover. Ill keep an eye out for it once i throw it on.
Rice would probably rock me... But I have the driver mod and he granny shifts and doesn't double clutch like he should so ya knowwww
I also took out all my windows, seats, gas tank and transmission so I got some pretty serious weight reduction going on now
We should do a big spring meet in PA somewhere. Our NY meets usually have like 30 ecotecs... I'm sure a bunch would make the cruise over.

looks like i need to replace an oxygen sensor or two. Haven't really looked into it too much.
Also need to replace evap solenoid. P0449 code ... not sure if its the one in the engine bay or the one under the trunk by the fuel pump??
Car has a coolant leak. Right near intercooler pump. Hope its an easy fix looks like its on one of the tubes going into the pump where its dripping. its been cold AF. put a little extra coolant in my option b the other day for now lulz

And winter does suck. my car sits all winter and it just pisses me off lmao. Im taking my car up to Mr. Connecticut once it warms up a bit and he is going to be doing a few things for me.

My intercooling system hoses seep coolant every winter due to sitting.
I just tighten up the clamp a bit, take her for a spin, and they are good for another year or so, lol.
