Hit & Run: Part 2(pics inside)

some of you might remember my hit & run incident a few months ago

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/pictures-videos-64/hit-run-w-pics-120609/

and finally it came in the mail.

i plan on painting it, but for now im gunna rock the cf look until i can afford it. its up there, but not on the top of my "to-do" list. its 100x better than the huge dent, so im content with this as of right now. i will get some better pics in later, i just threw this on less than an hour ago. tell me what you think.

see that's why having a black car really sucks sometimes. You can put on a CF hood and actually have people notice it LOL. Looks good man!

Sexy. I say keep it un-painted though. Matches the headlights nicely.

i got really lucky and was very surprised, most of it came off when i washed it, and almost everything else buffed out.

dude. that just happened to me yesterday. some d bag hit me in the same spot and did the same damage (well a little less of the front bumper and none of my stock grill) but i wanted to upgrade to a CF hood so my question to you is....

1. where did you get it from? perhaps how much
2. what brand. heard pretty much everything but vis is crap.
and hows the weave and basic construction of the hood. iv heard a lot of stories from freinds who bought cf hoods and they got sent crappy fitting poo hoods.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

1)i ordered it from http://www.carbonfiberhoods.net. with shipping it was around $600, not bad considering insurance gave me nearly $2k, and i took care of the rest myself. i HIGHLY recommend calling before you order just to make sure they have it in stock. the first month i spent making an order, then calling/emailing me a week later saying its not in stock, then another week for my money back. exact same thing happened to me twice before i came up with the brilliant idea to call first

2)ViS is one of the only brand that makes them as far as i know. i heard a lot of good and bad about them, but my hood was flawless and fit like a champ. its only been 2 days and i couldnt even tell you how many random people have made compliments on it.
