Has anyone painted (color match) their HALO PROJECTORS?

I just got a pair off the group buy (awesome deal btw) and i want to color match paint them. Just wondering if anyone else has done this yet and if so what problems have you come across?

post pics of your finished products if you can please...

 

i thought that people bought the projectors so they didnt have to paing the headlights. someone may have color matched them though, that would be sweet.

the stock headlights are CHROME correct??

the projectors come in BLACK or CHROME housing.

What if you had a LASER BLUE car.. and you didnt want black or chrome headlight housing?? Instead you wanted BLUE..

how is that pointless??

 

Donna color matched hers on her monster cobalt.

 

not saying that it is pointless but if i wanted to paint my headlights i would paint the stock headlights. i wouldnt get projectors then paint them. i also think that the majority of people have black projectors

 

i think its a great idea. my cars black but i still want to color match it.

i was serious. lol. thats what i hate about the projector the most is how it is a flat black

 

so you want to paint it or put a layer of gloss on it

I colormatched my stockers and plan on color matching some projectors very soon!

 

Dont quote me but i believe we might be selling them color matched in the future and spiced up alittle bit with some TNT lovin

 

I think its an excellent idea. But then again I guess some people think puttng vinyl down the side of the car and big metal wings on cars is a good idea.

Myself, I have black projectors and done really like the flat black, but im not going to go through the trouble of painting em gloss to match.

The stock headlights are boring, I have a pair I run in the winter that I painted black to match, but they are just bland. The projectors are a lot more agressive looking

White cobalt with color matched halos..

 

EmporerJJ1 had LBM matched Gen 1 halos before he got ran into.

 

OP is my brother.. he did it shortly after posting this.. They look great on his laser blue
