Pics of the newly painted headlights
It's really not too hard, just a major pain in the ass. I still have to wait and see how well they are sealed. I don't drive the car in the winter so it's not too big a deal if I gotta redo the sealing. I'm sure that someone who did these would make some money off them.
Looks really good. You should consider having you r car undercoated too while it is new to protect it from rust. There is none from the factory. I manage a collision center and did this myself.
Check out the before and after.

After seeing how my 11 year old sunfire with 330,000 KM's on it fared in the harsh alberta winter....IMHO Undercoat is a waste of money.
It never had undercoat. and when I retired it the rust was only just starting to become noticable.
Just my opinion though

Finally, someone w/ a black car posted pics of painted headlights. I've seen just about every other color, but not black. I've been thinking about doing this for a while, but wasn't sure exactly how it would look on a black car--most cars the headlights contrast the body color. I really like it by the way, and will probably do this along w/ my front grille in the next couple weeks. How long did it take by the way? I presume about a half a day, not including paint drying time?
Looks really sweet like that . All the other black SS's Ive seen have left the chrome rings around the headlight and parking light . On black , imo ...the way u did it looks the best
I'd like to see that too. I'm thinking of tinting my tailights, but aren't sure I want the rear totally blacked out. I'm curious to see how it looks.
