Cobalt or not, much respect to someome who puts that kind of work into a car
Especially when restoring / updating older steel <--always gets more respect from me
Rice boys and autozone kiddies, read and learn from this man..
This is the proper way to mod a car, once out of warranty the same thing will start happening to my cobalt (project time!!!!)
until then I will play nice with it..................

Considering an old school muscle car for a summer project..

Thanks for the Props

It only made sense that if you want a fast car, you have to start with a fast car.. Porsche is one of those words that just brings "Fast" to mind..

I got some time to put the parts more or less where thy belong. I'm not going to get into much detail but you will get the basic point.

I'm totally impressed worth the Parts from GT-Racing, They are expensive, but the fit is great, they are strong and most important. They weigh close to nothing. The Nose panel is a bit stronger than the fenders, but I understand that it is the leading edge of the car and I'm happy that it is stronger at to cost of a bit of weight.

The Headlight conversion is just placed there. There is clear plastic the covers the bucket. I'm simply waiting on the 951 bumper shocks and then I'll fire it on the actual car for a better test. I do not think I'll be disappointed.

Read the whole thing before you get mad

I've always considered 944's to be a but-ass ugly car. With that spoiler and the headlight conversion though, I really like it. You're doing an amazing job on the engine too, nice work. What is a stock 1/4 mile for the non turbo version?

If it was me, I'd be making it more for 1/4 mile and streetable speed, but mind you I don't already have a 13 second turbo'd rocket I just don't have any chance of finding somewhere to take my car to 300 anywhere around here.

It isn't a very fast car on the 1/4. Germans love going FAST and truning Fast then Going Faster..

Thanks for the Props, I fell in love with it. It's so Low and Wide. It's sex on wheels and 20 years old...

Again.

Tested out the basic look of the car. I'm like a kid with a new toy.

Got bored and ripped more of the Porsche interior, seats and carpet, in Prep for Bodywork.

The more I get done now, the less time it will need to be prepared at the shop. Time is Money...

I also got the 25L fuel cell today!

Thanks, I should get the fuel filter and the Aeroquip lines today. I'll mock up the fuel delivery. If it's not snowing, I'm woorking outside again on it...

Got my Steel Braided Clutch Line. This should kill all dead movement in the clutch.

Here is a shot of the 150 Psi Fuel pump that came in..

I have worked it out that it will hit 15 Psi at 7000 RPM.
