I got the Oil Filter Adaptor for the Supercharger.
It's designed to sit between the Filter and the block. It has three threaded holes in it for Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature and Oil Feed for a Turbo.
I will probably only be running the one hole to feed oil to the supercharger for now...

Finally got the Head Torqued down because I recieved my "Small Torque Wrench"
It neededc to be in In/Lb and or M Kg so I ordered one.
That last pull on a head stud is always a scary one for me.. Oh I would hate to strip one...

Again.
Got the LED Lights to replace the Taillights. A total of Ten. Uses less power. Looks HAWT!!
Also, Fuel Filter thus completing the fuel and basically the last part I need to sort it all out and make it work. I'm going to put the cam back on the engine with the water pump and time it all this weekend...
Here is the fuel filter and the Bitchn Torque Wrench..

D**n Brian you have a lot of time and knowledge. This kid I know has a 944 but he drives it all the time (winter too) and treats it like s**t. Really you should see this thing i kinda feel bad for the car. I'm sure he hasn't washed the thing. I'm not a big fan of your car model but i'm interested to see how your car turns out. I think it will be good.
Same here man. I got s**t all over the place

The 944 is one of the most produced and less valuable Porsche models out there, it had the rep of not being a true sports car compared to the 911, but the 944 Turbo in it's final couple of years matched the performance figures of the 911 all around and outperformed it on a tight track.
It's a great car that simply needs the correct upgrades to make it a real killer.
Not ever going to be able to make a sleaper out of a car with PORSCHE on the back...

i have seriously considered a project car very similar to the your twin screw 944. im all about low weight, rwd and excilent engineering. the rest (power) i can do myself but a nice lightweight stable highperformance rwd platform is somehow completely absent from new cars. i sure wish gm would make a lighweight rwd performance car.

IMO, Pick a goal and never stray from the line. Everything must be focused towards the "End State"

Came up with a slightly more refined system to hold the Supercharger.
Stainless Steel Door hinges from a Prison. These puppies have ball bearings in them to allow for no free play and still be able to hold a 300 Lb door.
These hooked to mounting plates, One on the Motor and one on the Supercharger will create a triangle with a pair of tie rod ends that would serve as the adjusters.

Done for the night but here is the progress.
The Cam Box was purged, oiled and wrapped to keep it free of **** until Saturday.
The Threads were prepped for the Cambox and the valve train was coated in oil and then with a shop vac, I made sure that any dust and **** was removed with the coating of oil. I'm going to repeat this before it gets assembly lube and then closed up for good..

Ok, so I should have stopped as I was planning to but I had all the parts, tools and felt like doing it.
It was real important that the cam was times with the pistons. I would like to underscore this to all that will try it. It is an interference engine. IE: The Valves can strike the piston if the timing is off.
So, after cleaning all the internal parts of the Cam Box, and the top of the head, I fired some heavy 20W50 on as an assembly lubricant, used the Shop Vac to suck it with any dust or crud that had collected on the parts. Then coated all the parts in the Cam Box and Re-installed the lifters in the exact order they were removed from the Box in the Fall. That way, the wear patterns and the adjustments that were made will still be accurate.
The Cam Box gasket was oiled and then Bolts were left at 20 NM.
I'm real happy with the outcome. Next, Water Pump and Timing Belt.

I love what you're doing, and I absolutely love building engines. I'm sort of in the process of building a 2.0 VW watercooled motor, cept I haven't worked on it in like 6 months. Not even sure if it's ever going to get done. This would be the second one i've built, but I sold the other one before I actually used it.
