07 Cobalt LS problems
Hey guys. I have 2 problems with my balt, and I'm not sure whats going on.
1) When i go over bumps (speed bumps, etc), a squeak comes from the passenger side (sounds like its near the wheel well). It really sounds like either the tire is getting flat (and its NOT regular pressure) or the strut is squeaking.
2) When i go over even the slightest bump, the back end makes a squeak or rattles as well.
any input would be great, thanks guys

mine makes some weird noises like that when i go over speed bumps. i dont know what it is i was thinking maybe it was something with the struts, it was really bad when i first got the car but now its not as bad with 4000 miles on the car.
sounds like the struts, also put the right amount of air in ur tires (could also be a loose hubcap, happened to my friend, she was freakin out,hit a pothole and the hubcap came loose and squeeked) so check that. and if the air pressure and hubcap thing dont work chances are its your strut, in which case take it to the dealer

Same here, after a freezing cold start I get a really hard squeek over the speed bumps on the way out of school, but once the car is moving for 5-10 minutes the squeeking goes away.
well if you do let me know
