Question 60# injector idle problem...need help please

I just recently installed 60# siemens injectors and new spark plugs in my car. I was running a 2.8 with 42# injectors no problem before I upgraded. The spark plugs are one step colder and gaped at .040. I flashed the PCM with a custom tune from ZZP that was programed for my 60# injectors and mods. The problem is my car is idling really weird it kind of sounds like a car that is camming. The rpms jump up and down about 200 - 450rpms like its about to stall out but never does. It also seems to be running rich as hell. Sometimes when I floor it I can see black smoke behind me. It doesn't do it all the time though...at least I only notice it sometimes. Usually when I first start my car up. I thought maybe it was my spark plugs...I have tried gaping them from .030 to .040. I started off at .030...then worked up to .040 but it didn't fix anything. I figured it only could be bad injectors or bad tune but the injectors are brand new and I have never had any problems with ZZP tunes before. Before I go through the trouble of pulling my injectors out again any advice would be appreciated.

BTW its not a dirty throttle body. I have cleaned it twice already. My car idled and ran fine before I installed the injectors / plugs.

double check the tune is for 60's
but they idle like poop anyway, just the style injector sucks at low pulse widths.

Thanks once I get the time today I am going to double check the hpt file. I still wonder if one or more of my injects just isn't seated right...I thought I installed them right but I don't know. I figured if it was really messed up it would really have problems.

Could be an injector seat not sitting right. I'd double check that too.

yeah possible vacuum leak, but I dunno, I don't like the 60's idle characteristics.
disc style ftw

60's can idle butter smooth IF you have the right injector scaling AND the right maf scaling.

I had an ever so slight lope to mine..The rpms wouldn't move but if you stood behind the car you could hear it. I'm going to go with that it's probably in your tune. You probably won't be able to get it completely gone, but you should definately be able to get rid of the 200-450 rpm play that you have

I guess I am just not use to running 60s. Mine does it off and on. Its not bad but it does have a looping sound even when my rpms are not jumping around. It usually jumps for a bit then smooths out but I can still hear the looping. I know I need to get it fine tuned but I don't know any place close to here than can do it. I don't trust myself with what little I know :-P

mine did that same thing: it would bounce rpms, but you could hear it out of the exhaust. It didn't bother me too much. I just figured it was because my car was running a little richer than it wanted to with those injectors at idle.
