boost control solenoid

Hi there everyone!!

Last night I was driving around with my car, and I noticed that it was performing poorly. I took a look at my boost gauge and saw that I was getting about 6psi on redline. I currently have a gm stage II tuning so I usely get about 15psi of boost.

Today a friend of mine scanned the car and it gave me code "P0033 Turbo Charger Bypass control Circuit". I went under the hood and saw that there were only hoses where coming into the solenoid.

My question is as followed, is there supposed to be any hose or anything else plugged in where the sponge is??
Or is it just my bypass valve thats screwing me up?

Let me know guys
Thx

"P0033 Turbo Charger Bypass control Circuit" and "2.0L LSJ Performance Tech" don't really go together well.....

Are you supposed to be able to blow throught the solonoid when it is off the vehicle?

That's the right solenoid for the car... They do go bad.

Also, check the hoses leading to the solenoid... they tend to crack.
