Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

boost guage quit working...help??

boost guage quit working...help??

06 ss/sc. boost guage is stuck on 5 psi but i can still hear the supercharger. the lights still work on it when it gets dark but the needle never moves.
what would cause this and how would i take it apart to look at it??

The gauges are junk. Just put a new one in. Not hard.

Replace it.... They eventually go out. Either take it to a dealer and have it replaced, or put one in yourself

You will have to remove the pillar. At the top there is a plastic circle piece. Pop it out and then unscrew the screw behind it and the pillar should then just pop off. The gauge probably is bracketed in behind it so just look at the back side of the pillar and remove whatever is necessary.

Also there might be metal clips holding it on, so when you unscrew the top slowly slide your fingers down the pillar to pry it up and don't just yank it. That way you wont break any clips.
