You're removing the intake pipe to do the test. The car needs to be off.

there is a sensor on the lower intercooler pipe that registers boost pressure make sure its not getting hit by the compressor for the ac its a common problem with engine movement there is an adjustment you can do to correct this.... check the pig tail make sure its not broken
