Broke the boost bypass actuator nipple
The car will be attempting to boost all the time from what i'm thinking, so I'd advise against it, but try it and see. It can't really hurt anything, but the car might run poorly.
I have one if you need it, used and in perfect shape.

I would plug the hose with a golf tee or such and take it for a spin, using common sence of course.
I don't see what it would hurt.
I don't believe that hose has any boost on it.
I could be wrong but have a bud rev it up and you monitor the action under the hood.

from what it looks like is that line does have boost in it and closes the bypass as you start buildin boost..If so then you will need to plug that hose and drive it like a grandma..either that or get some epoxy for temp..epoxy WILL hold it on
When the car is at idle, throttle closed, the vacuum on the top of the BBV pulls it open, so the s/c doesn't have to put any load on the motor. As you start to open the throttle, passing 10hg of vacuum, it starts to close. Once you reach atmospheric (0hg), it is fully closed, allowing no air bleed back from the blower. Once you take your foot off the gas, TB closes, vacuum again, opens the valve.
For refrence, the other line on it is usually an atmospheric reference line, but the car has a solenoid on that side to use manifold pressure to force it back open if needed, thats what gives the ability to limit boost.
