Hey my parents might be buying a cobalt in the next year, not SS, either the 2.2 or 2.4. From what I understand the ECOTEC is a good engine, but how is the rest of the cobalt? Any common problems? Major or minor?

 

Ive had my SS/SC for 6 months and ive had 1 problem with a water leak commin out of the sunroof (bad seal, fixed under warranty) but other than that no problems elsewhere. Just hit 10k miles

 

watch the body and interior lines. when i was shoppin around i saw alot that could have been put 2gether alot better. im not sure about the mechanics of the 2.2 or 2.4.

 

Nothing major that I have heard of.

 

the electronics in my 05 are crap............. Non stop problems as of late, but stupid crap that just drives you nuts......... Windows stop working, lights stop working, abs lights....... Problem is they cant figure out the problems when they arrise.

 

I've had my '06 LT for 3 months... put about 7,400 on the odo. Had a door panel replaced early on because someone left a mark on it with a grease pencil at the factory. Other than that, absolutely no problems. I might replace my cabin air filter soon.

This car was built on a Monday.

 

Ive had mine in Friday for the sunroof not working. It has to go in again tommarow for the same problem.

 

two problems. the fan for the AC in the far right is making a stupid squeaking noise, and plus the door panel needed to be replaced cause of a chip in the paint on it.
