Cobalt ss Problem????

I just bought a 2005 cobalt ss/sc. I was just wondering sometimes when i put it in to reverse it grinds a little. Not every time just every now and then. Not really bad just a little. Just wondering if something is wrong or if that is normal.

actually thats pretty common on the ss/sc..... get in the habit of putting it in 4th before Reverse. it never grinds now, and it really doesnt take much more time/effort to do

How much of a "grind" we talking about? Every once in a wile when I throw mine in reverse, even with my clutch fully depressed and not letting it out early I can feel it a little, but I'm at 34k miles and no problems... knock on wood...
